I booked this course as a birthday present for my husband. We had a fabulous time. We are total beginners and Bekah was patient, gracious, and very easygoing. I felt like we were just hanging out and making food with a friend. I would definitely book with her again!

We had a most wonderful evening creating the pasta meal. The food was delicious; the recipes and preparation were fascinating. Six guests who had never met before shared an amazing time together in the lovely home of Chef Bekah. Thanks so much!

What a great happy memory was made today! Took the class with Chef Bekah and my granddaughter. It was so fascinating and fun and we both didn’t want it to end! Recommend highly!

Such a fabulous experience! Bekah herself is warm and welcoming and makes you feel comfortable right away. Her knowledge and skills as a chef are top notch and we learned how to enjoy all our delectable favorites in a vegan and healthy manner. I don’t know which is best - the cashew cheese that really tastes like cheese, making vegan pasta feeling like we were in Italy rolling out the pasta noodles, or the avocado chocolate mousse. All incredible! And we got the full recipes after so we won’t forget. Would gladly do another Cozymeal experience with Chef Bekah!

Chef Bekah was awesome! Not only did she teach us how to make some delicious food, she also was able to get us more variations and other recipes for different dishes. The cookies were money and the crack- was a cooking game changer. Next time we want to learn about more vegan dishes, we will make sure to reach out to Chef Bekah!

Chef Bekah is a talented Chef who is passionate about making delicious vegan food with great ingredients. She is knowledgeable about the subject and had a genuine enthusiasm for healthy, smart vegan food. I'm not one to order vegan food ever but her food was fantastic. Her homemade Cacio Pepe kind of blew my mind. It tasted so good and so authentic that I had trouble believing it was Vegan, even though I watched her make the whole thing. Her food rocked!
Reviews Chef Bekah received outside of Cozymeal
I recently had the pleasure of attending a Rife Style dining experience. Coming from a lapsed vegetarian, the vegan food on the menu was delicious. Bekah prepared (and allowed us to participate in making) a four course meal, which included veggie wraps (with spicy peanut dipping sauce), veggie dumplings (with another excellent dipping sauce), a cucumber salad (with a black vinegar vinaigrette) and, for desert, sticky rice pudding topped with sweet mangoes. Suffice it to say, there was a bit of wine served as well, which only added to the experience. In short, it was a delicious blast and Rife Style comes highly recommended.
I had a wonderful cooking experience with Chef Rebekah. I have taken several cooking classes before but never a vegan cooking class. I learn some great techniques and use of different ingredients but I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the class. The settings was cozy and informal and she alternated learning/cooking with eating which differs from other classes. It felt more like a dinner with friends than a cooking class. Having said that, the three dishes we made were great and composed a nice Italian menu with Bruschetta, homemade pasta (vegan) and chocolate mousse. The casual ambiance and easy-to-make dishes made me really comfortable about the vegan experience. I have already made two of the dishes at home since the class. I even thought the vegan pasta tasted better than my egg and flour pasta I make at home. I really recommend this class and I personally look forward to attending another one with Chef Rebekah.
I had a fantastic evening at the Rife Style cooking class! It was the first formal cooking class I have taken. I consider myself intermediate level, cooking at least two meals per day, but was excited to try some vegan recipes. Chef Bekah welcomed us into her kitchen and guided us through preparing an appetizer, main course and dessert. She explained the recipes thoroughly and graciously answered all of our questions. We shared the tasks while enjoying conversation and wine, and my favorite part was making pasta for the first time! I appreciated learning from a professional in a casual, small group setting, and now feel more confident to try vegan recipes at home. I recommend Rife Style because you will have a delicious meal and delightful experience.
Bekah is a true culinary artist! I am not a vegan but I do try to eat as little meat and dairy products as possible. With that said, it’s not always easy to find dishes that can replace some of the more hearty dishes most people are accustom to. To broaden my horizons I took cooking class with Bekah and was truly blown away. We prepared three different dishes and all were just as, if not more satisfying than the meat versions! We made a walnut and shiitake mushroom lettuce wraps, cauliflower nachos and a vegan cacio de pepe pasta. First off, Bekah is a great instructor and was very patient and informative explaining the ingredients used and how they help give flavor, color and texture to each dish. Boy did she deliver! Everything was rich in flavor and texture and had a great presentation to boot. I highly recommend everyone explore more vegan options not just because it’s good for the planet and animals, but simply because it’s just delicious!
The best class and meal! Bekah is so fun and relaxed. I learned so many creative ways to cook plant based and the food was outstanding! You won’t be disappointed, book her already!
I have had the pleasure to know Rebekah for over 5 years now and have experienced her amazing vegan dishes. I also have attend many of her cooking classes that are not only tasty but teaches you about nutrition and how to make vegan dishes that look and taste so satisfying that you don’t even miss eating meat. Best of all, the food is good for you! In addition, I have also hired her to cater my parties. Her professionalism and thought that goes into the menu planning was beyond my expectations. The presentation of the food was so delightful and delicious. Some of my favorite dishes are the spring rolls with house made peanut sauce, vegan crab cakes and her famous raw lasagna! I highly recommend her for all your catering needs and to take her cooking lessons, you will not be disappointed!
The only thing more intimidating than cooking a three course meal, is cooking a three course mean that is vegan/plant based! As soon as I agreed to spend some time with Bekah in the kitchen, I instantly felt anxiety and a bit of panic. How hard was it going to be? And more importantly, how would everything taste? However, the moment I walked into the kitchen my worries went away, as I could tell I was in good hands. The music playing in the background was soothing and appropriate for the theme of the meal (Italian), the kitchen was spotless, and we were ready to go! We whipped up a vegan bruschetta as an appetizer, handmade pasta (cacio de pepe) as the main meal, followed by a chocolate mousse for dessert. I said ""whipped up,"" because that's exactly how it happened! Bekah provided demonstrations along the way with helpful tips and pointers. Seriously, you can ask her anything! Her knowledge extends far beyond the recipe at hand- cooking utensils, substitutable ingredients, etc., no question is off limits! I left Bekah's having not only had a fun time in the kitchen, but with a serious confidence boost for my potential in the world of vegan creations in my own home! Bekah, keep spreading the vegan love. Hope to see you in the kitchen very soon!
Hello! I used Rebekah to cook for a dinner party with friends while having a fun plant-based cooking lesson. The dishes were very inventive and we came away thinking we could actually make these things at home. I recommend learning to make her handmade no-egg (flour, oil and tofu instead) fettuccini with pepper sauce. Such a treat! The frozen peanut butter cups with vegan dulce de leche sauce was the perfect ending. You will love the experience! xx
In the last two years I switched to a full plant based vegan lifestyle yet the food was getting monotonous over time. I knew I had to switch things up so I started searching for plant based cooking lessons. That’s when I found Rebekah Rife. I was intrigued by her photos, their yummy descriptions and what seemed to be simple approach to plant based cooking. I have to say I loved the lesson! I live life on the go so meal prep and cooking had to be a timely affair. I do not have the time to spend hours in the kitchen outside of cooking lessons and Rebekah are a a fun no-nonsense approach. We made the most delicious cauliflower nachos that were prepared in a breeze with add-ons like homemade vegan cheese, pico de Gallo and home made sour cream! Omg!! Seriously tasty and I can whip it up in 20 minutes flat. Win. I also loved the simplicity of a mini tostada with a black bean spread, diced tomatoes and romaine. It was so simple and now I have a little flair for plant based ‘Mexican’ cuisine. Woo!
I loved working with Rebekah for the plant-based cooking lesson. I love food but haven't always had the most confidence in the kitchen. Rebekah's warm welcoming attitude helped me step up and try something new. We started out with veggie spring rolls and peanut sauce, which was such an amazing way to start the meal. While snacking on the spring rolls we started on the main course, fried tofu dumplings. Rebekah gave me the confidence to get up and try new knife skills and introduced new flavors I never would have thought of. Then we ended with sweet coconut sticky rice and mango. I never knew how delicious rice could be. Rebekah's home atmosphere was welcoming. You wouldn't have known if any of the guests were strangers beforehand or longtime best friends, Rebekah treated us all with the same kindness. This would be a great activity single, as a date night, or with a group of friends. I highly recommend and will be back for another lesson soon!
