One of the more highly regarded arts in the culinary world is sushi making. This class will provide you with the basic essentials necessary to make succulent sushi in your own home. Chef Billie enjoys sharing her passion for cooking and guides you through the entire process, from sushi rice preparation, to properly filleting a fish, and last but not least, forming an eye-catching sushi roll. Enjoy learning in a personalized and fun setting perfect for couples.
Your class consists of learning to create a variety of savory sushi rolls including healthy vegetarian, succulent tuna, mouthwatering shrimp tempura, and flavorful rice. The best part is being able to bring your new skills home with you to delight guests at any occasion.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Great sushi making class in Los Angeles offered by a fantastic and very knowledgable chef. One of the things I like about Chef Billie is that she is also very experienced in many other cuisines. In addition to this, she has been a cooking school instructor for many years and really knows very well how to teach.

I have always loved the flavours of Thailand, the sweet with the salty, fresh and bitter all together. Having tried in vain to recreate these at home I was pleased to learn how. My favourite part was the smashing of the green beans for the 'smashed bean salad'. Chef Billie keeps up a running commentary throughout and definitely gets into the spirit of the class.
I am truly interested in all things food-related, from learning about exotic chocolate in Mexico to fragrant grapes in Napa Valley. My desire is to share my vast knowledge and experience with eager students in order to empower their cooking skills and broaden thier horizons to all the amazing ingredients that are offered to us in this great city!
