What You’ll Do

Discover unique flavor combinations, making renowned global dishes with a plant-based take.

During this hands-on cooking class, Chef Jackie will take you on a flavorful journey to discover exciting tastes from around the globe. You’ll bring to life dishes with Mexican, Mediterranean, Caribbean and French inspiration.

For this plant-based feast, you’ll start making a fig and avocado salsa with skillet-fried tortillas for the extra crunch. Next, you’ll make a tahini Caesar-style salad with roasted chickpeas, and cook a delightful Caribbean curry with vegetables, black beans and coconut sticky rice. For dessert, prepare a vegan dark chocolate pots de crème made with bittersweet chocolate and chickpea aquafaba.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about vegan cooking. Every recipe was thoughtfully designed, easy to follow, and absolutely delicious. I loved how the class focused not just on recipes, but on why ingredients work together, how to build flavor without animal products, and how to make meals that are both nourishing and satisfying. Chef Jackie cooked up a delicious, social evening--using the freshest ingredients and creating the warmest environment. She cut and cubed her way into each of our hearts, and empowered us to cook with a bit more confidence. Who knew the best chocolate pudding dessert could be made with garbanzo beans?!
