Private Chef - California-French Duck Dinner

Join Chef Cregg for a French-inspired menu infused with California influence.

Choose gourmet dishes to tantalize your taste buds featuring local ingredients and classic French technique. Begin with an earthy beet and manchego salad or a crispy tarte flambée. Next, enjoy a poached duck egg over creamy polenta, or a plate of duck cracklings topped with herbs. The main course highlights Muscovy duck in either a duck confit with brown butter sauce over mushroom spaetzle, or a braised duck cannelloni with Swiss chard. For dessert, select a silky panna cotta with balsamic roasted strawberries or a decadent smoked toffee and espresso tart.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to accompany the menu, and may request pairing recommendations from the chef upon booking.

Fun, informative, and tasty. Chef Cregg packs a whole lot of activities to do in such a short time. Learned a lot about various ingredients and it was super fun knowing we made everything for our meal. 10/10 would recommend.

Such a fun and informative class! Chef Cregg was such a kind and great teacher and guided us in making the tastiest pasta I’ve ever had! Not to mention the other courses - fabulous all around!
