You'll shave and dress a fennel, orange and arugula salad, build a creamy rigatoni alla vodka with cashew cream and Calabrian chile, roll and simmer eggplant meatballs in a rustic basil pomodoro and whip a vanilla cashew budino to finish. Jeff Jackie's event/experience largely exceeded my expectations. Not only the recipes were fabulous, she is a great teacher. We learn many basic cooking technics, such as how to properly hold a knife, ways to cut scallions, etc, etc. The food tasted amazing. Thank you so much Jackie

Chef Jackie taught a super fun and informative class! The food that we made was delicious and I really liked that she infused her Lebanese culture into the meals because they were very unique. We very much enjoyed Chef Jackie's Lebanese cooking class. She customized the menu for us (presumably possible only because the two of us were the only students that day). She is a warm, welcoming host, and the food was tasty. Making the food was a lot of fun and we very much enjoyed the meal at the end. The recipes are good, but if you are an interested cook willing to experiment, you can find good recipes for anything on the internet. So, though our meal was delicious, what we appreciated even more was Chef Jackie's instruction in broader aspects of cooking. She will, for example, correct your knife technique, showing you the best way to hold and use a chef's knife, and giving you chances to repeat newly-learned motions. She's been a teacher for years, and it shows. We'll put the skills we learned to use in daily life. This was an excellent experience all around.
