What You’ll Do

Explore the exquisite flavors of a classic Lebanese mezze with a plant-based twist.

During this engaging cooking class, Chef Jackie will guide you into the secrets of making authentic Eastern Mediterranean dishes. She’ll help you prepare a delicious 100% plant-based Lebanese menu.

You’ll start by preparing two flavors of creamy hummus paired with seasonal vegetables, and make homemade spinach fatayer, skillfully combining ancient-grain bread dough, spinach and onions. For dessert, whip up candy clusters made with dark chocolate, pomegranate arils and sea salt flakes.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a great time cooking with Chef Jackie! Learned a lot in a fun and relaxing environment, and of course the food was delicious. Especially appreciate that Chef Jackie made sure to keep us involved in the cooking process and gave us a friendly nudge in the right direction if we weren't doing something correctly. It's important to give that kind of proper instruction and constructive criticism. Would definitely recommend a class with Chef Jackie!

Chef Jackie led a wonderful cooking class! She is knowledgeable and patient, she made the class very enjoyable. The dishes we made were delicious and we look forward to trying the recipes again at home. Highly recommend this class!

Personable, great instruction and practical application. Terrific recipes in a nurturing environment. Oh, and did I mention delicious?! I may even get her cookbook!
