Shrimp and grits are a favorite dish in the South, and for good reason. Travel to the Carolina coast with Chef Theodore as he uses his years of experience to transport you straight to Charleston.
First, you will learn to prepare vegetables for a fresh salad with vinaigrette to start off the meal. Chef Theodore will then walk you through properly cleaning shrimp, cooking up the perfect sauce, and preparing a steaming bowl of grits that would impress a lifelong Southerner. Top it off with being taught the fundamentals of making your own ice cream, and you have a delicious meal of true Southern comfort.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
