Cooking Class - Traditional Mexican Tacos and Tamales

Chef Michael will teach you the principles of making fantastic, traditional Mexican dishes in this hands-on cooking class, and the secrets that make your favorite Mexican food so addictive.

Start with fresh fire roasted salsa verde and cool guacamole which you'll fry fresh chips to dunk in these classic Mexican dips. Next, get a primer on taco basics before you make pressure-cooked tender pork tamales by hand. End the class by forming pate a choux for freshly fried churros rolled in cinnamon sugar.

Chef Michael welcomes guests to bring beer or wine to enjoy with the meal.

I received cozy meal as a surprise Valentine's Day present and I loved it. The evening was fun, interactive, hands on and yummy. Chef Michael not only guided us through each step but also gave us so many cool facts on the cooking process I learned several new things that evening. Overall we had a wonderful time and I'd highly suggest this to anyone looking for a fun cooking experience. P.s this makes a great date night surprise

Our group of 4 (my parents, my girlfriend and I) really enjoyed our Mexican cooking class with Micheal. The food was delicious and he gave us lots of awesome tips. We LOVED the salsa and the guac, and the recipes were simple enough that we can make them on our own. Thanks Michael!

Chef Michael began working in restaurants at the age of 15, attending Le Cordon Bleu after high school. He pursued experiences in fine dining at such restaurants as Citrus@Social and the Getty center, where he grew his passion and skills. Soon after, Michael created and ran a successful catering business for many years before transitioning to the private chef industry, where he has focused his energy for the last five years.
