Begin with Gruyère cheese canapés, followed by chicken coq au vin — a classic French stew — prepared with red wine, bacon and mushrooms. This unforgettable meal ends with a fool-proof, perfectly sweet apple tarte tatin and the skills to recreate it all.

Chef Gill was fantastic! He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about cooking. He is an amazing teacher and kept us engaged throughout the entire class. He shared a lot of helpful tips and techniques and we learned so much. I highly recommend Chef Gill’s classes to anyone looking for an informative and fun culinary experience!

Chef Gill's career has taken him around the world, from teaching at Le Cordon Bleu in Los Angeles to recreational courses in Santa Monica, Brooklyn and NYC. He holds a degree from Johnson and Wales University and a graduate certificate in gastronomy from the University of Adelaide. With cuisine specialties that include Asian, Italian, Spanish and French, Chef Gill is eager to help students of all backgrounds become skilled home chefs.
