Cooking Class - Chinese Soup Dumplings

Learn time-honored techniques for preparing authentic dumplings and more.

Xiao long bao is a type of steamed bun typically filled with pork and a solid broth that melts when cooked. Learn how to make this popular dish by hand in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Li.

Start by kneading and slicing your dough, then fill it with pork and seal neatly with a row of tiny pleats. Then, Chef Li will show you how to steam your dumplings, which you will enjoy alongside a tangy hot and sour soup and smashed cucumber salad. Finish your meal with poached pears and crunchy rock sugar.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
