We had an amazing time with Chef Elon. Warm and inviting, knowledgeable and a wonderful teacher. Would certainly do it all over again!

Chef Elon was an amazing host! Very inviting, informative and warm to work with. We are foodies and love the being in the kitchen, and the knowledge of foods and kitchen techniques we walked away with at the end of the evening were invaluable. Such a great experience.

My husband and I had the best evening with Chef Elon this past weekend! The menu was incredible and Chef Elon made the cooking experience fun and educational. In addition to a few new recipes, we learned plenty of helpful tips and tricks that we can apply when we cook at home. We would absolutely recommend taking a class with Chef Elon -- you are sure to leave full of yummy food and culinary knowledge :)

This is a review that is a bit late, but I booked the Korean-Low Country fusion cooking class as a Valentines date for my boyfriend and I, and we had such a blast! Great food and fantastic conversation, Chef Elon is so patient and great at providing instruction. We absolutely recommend this as a date night idea for any adventurous, foodie couple.

Delicious menu, wonderful hosts, and Chef Elon was detailed and provided great information. We have made sushi and also collard greens in our own since the class!

Classes with Chef Elon are not only informative and delicious but his playful self shines through and makes the whole experience incredibly fun! I have taught with and learned from Chef Elon for the past 10 years. His experience and depth of knowledge is apparent in what he teaches and how he answers questions. One word to describe Chef Elon? Incredible! I have been blessed to have personally worked with Chef Elon for 11 years and he is truly a Master of the Art. He knows food like none other. He has an effortless style that draws in even the most inexperienced and makes you hungry for more! His personality and wit shine as he shares his experiences and expertise in a way that makes you feel like you are in your element. Chef Elon is great with people of all ages. If you have the opportunity to take any class from Chef Elon, I highly recommend it! Your life and culinary skills will be glad you did!

I had an excellent culinary experience with chef Elon! Not only is he super fun, with a great sense of humor, he’s also patient and gives you a skill set that can translate at home. Love that he’s able to take worldly flavors and make them authentic, approachable and delicious. I took a class w/ Elon, my boyfriend and a few others and we had a blast! Can’t wait to recreate this menu for my next dinner party and blow my friends away. Would highly recommend!!

I have worked with chef Elon for years and have participated in many of his classes. He is an excellent chef of Korean cuisine and has family ties to its origins. Chef Elon is adept at adopting recipes to fit specific situations he will he will be brilliant with his menu infusing southern heritage into vital Korean cuisine. I cannot recommend this menu and chef Elon highly enough.

Elon is an absolute gem. Not only is he one of the most creative chefs I know, but his enthusiasm and love of food shine through in all his teachings. As a fellow chef who has taught with Elon for over ten years, I am constantly impressed by his unique approach to bringing the best out of ingredients and combining cuisines and taste in always mouth-watering ways. Elon is extremely patient and over the years I’ve watched him coach countless students, in all age groups, with kindness, inspiration and an infectious love of cooking. I wouldn’t miss the opportunity to cook side by side with Elon in his kitchen. Not only is he a terrific chef and instructor, but he is also kind. And quite funny as well. Whatever you cook with Elon will be delicious, and no doubt you will have an excellent and memorable experience. He’s just that good.

Chef Elon is great to work with! He explains things really clearly and is very knowledgeable about food and cooking. He is a creative and fun teacher. He makes everyone feel included in the class and can easily adapt dishes for dietary restrictions. His classes are informative, entertaining and delicious!

My girlfriends and I took this course because it sounded weird – Korean/southern? Obviously, this chef had some secrets that none of us accomplished cooks would know and Elon proved our hunch right! He presented us with combinations of flavors and food items that were unexpected and delicious. Others in the class weren’t as handy in the kitchen as my gang was, but Elon hooked us all with his off-the-cuff humor and attention to everyone.

One fun evening! First of all, was fun to learn about Korean food influences over southern staples. Elon is one creative chef! He was entertaining as he took many of us into new cooking experiences and I loved how he attended to presentation. Not only was everything delicious, it was gorgeously presented – equal to a fine restaurant. He was the whole shebang: cooking skills, fascinating backstories, entertaining & warm, delicious eats and great presentation - and we enjoyed his complimentary wine pairing.

Amazing life experience!!! Never was that easy to make a magnifique dinner … chef Elon got all the patience and skills to walk you through an unique experience… looking forward for the next journey with the CHEF
