Hibachi is always fun and this was no exception. A show and meal preparation in one. The negative was that the meal was supposed to include Sake, but their Sake shipment didn't arrive, something they told us only after they came here, so late and with no make-up for it.

We had an amazing experience. The food was delicious - every thing chef made for us was wonderful. Chef Motti was so friendly, warm and attentive. We really had a wonderful time interacting with him and enjoying his creations. Chef Motti accommodated all our dietary restrictions and preferences. Highly recommend!

Chef Dirk not only prepared Michelin Star level dishes in our kitchen but was also a great company. The table was set beautifully and each course was explained before it was brought to the table. He not only provided the historical context of the dishes, he also recommended appropriate wines that complemented the foods so well. Chef Roger was simply amazing. He delighted us with a custom vegan menu, full of flavor, fresh ingredients, savory flavors, and healthy options. He conversed with us, but then allowed us to dine together as he faded into the background. He was kind. He was efficient and cleaned up as well! It was the perfect way to spend our evening. We will certainly have Chef Roger back in our home!

Chef Roger was amazing! I booked for my husbands birthday, and prior to the event he messaged to ask for tips on what we liked, was very responsive, and when he got to our place he was set up and running in less than 10minutes. The food was also phenomenal and exactly what my husband loves. He set the table, served each course with an explanation and chatted to us about each dish and his experiences which made for a very chill and lovely evening. At the end he cleaned up and my kitchen has never looked better. Highly recommend!!

We had a great time and can’t wait to book with Chef Charles again. Charles’s approach was very informative. We learned a lot about how to sear meat and cook on high heat; for example holding the pan at an angle away from you as you place the meat. Chef Charles made everything so easy and the food was the best. He is also a very interesting person and loved his stories as a chef. Can’t wait to work together again!

Food was a 10/10, great taste! Chef Charles was friendly and arrived on time. However, he did appear a bit sloppy. Wearing flip flops, a tee shirt, and a zip up hoodie, I was a bit nervous if we had the right person coming to cook us dinner. Overall, we liked the food, just a lack of professionalism.

Chef Dirk prepared an 8-person Italian pasta feast for my husband's birthday - it was PERFECT. He was incredibly warm, prepared, efficient, and engaging. The 4-course meal consisted of expertly layered flavors, perfectly cooked pasta, and a mind-blowing dessert. What really made it special was Chef Dirk memorizing the names of everyone, as well as the 2 birthdays and engagement we were celebrating. When he was finished, he left the kitchen cleaner than when he started. One thing I wish I knew beforehand was that preparing so much food would take time - and it is worth the wait! Definitely plan for this and either have folks arrive an hour after Chef Dirk's start time, or have some appetizers or things to snack on.

This was an OUTSTANDING experience! Our group of ten loved his food. So fresh. Such uncommon combinations of flavors and textures. It was like dining on a Michelin Star meal at home. He arrived on time, prepared, with his team. He was very generous with the quantity and quality of the food. He has a special source for ingredients that the average home cook would not have access to on their own. He and his team served us, as though we were in one of the finest restaurants, using fresh dinnerware for each course. Our kitchen was completely cleaned up and things were put away before they left. Our highest recommendations go to Chef Roger.

Had an office party of 11 Saturday night. Chef arrived exactly on time however appetizer was not served at 7:15 as promised, came at 7:45. Didn’t get main entree until 9:15. Chef had told me she would be bringing a sous chef, but she came alone. Guest had told help her clear plates. When she left, the flowers she brought were on the kitchen counter next to the vase, she never got them to our dining table. Lobster was good, Caesar salad and steak just mediocre. Chef was quite pleasant but could not serve us efficiently, disappointed evening especially at $135 per person, not including tip.

Chef Lorenzo was great - friendly, amiable, and filled with great stories about the dishes that he chose. However, we weren't huge fans of the food itself and it wasn't as flavorful as we had hoped.

Let me start by saying I have zero issues with Chef Lorenzo as a person. He was polite to our guests. My issue is with the food and service. We have hired over a dozen private chefs for dinner parties for friends and for business dinners. NEVER have I experienced the level of unprofessionalism and downright awful food. We had a party booked for 12 people at a cost of about $130 per person, so all in more than $1,500. He did not wash his hands (or wear gloves) before starting food service of raw fish, which made me question the handling of all of our food. The first course tasted like Ritz crackers under tuna tartar from Whole Foods. For the second course, he used our microwave to heat up the seafood pasta. It was heated un-evenly, the clams were over-cooked and chewy, and the whole dish was frankly not very good. We (and our guests) cleared our own plates because he did not bring anyone to help. That also meant there was no wine service. The main course was too fishy, as if the fish was old and going bad. The sauce/soup was bland and flavorless. People barely touched their meal. Dessert wasn’t any better. The beignets were flat and soggy because they’d been made ahead of time and brought to our house. They are the one thing I almost wished had gone in the microwave. Maybe they would have been edible. At the end of the night we were appalled at how Chef Lorenzo left our kitchen. He did not do any of the dishes (dinner plates, pasta plates, dessert plates) which were all stacked by the sink for us to do, and the stove was covered in sauce and fish grease. I’ve NEVER hired a private chef where I’ve had to spend 2 hours in the kitchen cleaning up after them. He also took one of our colanders home with him, even though he said he would bring all of his own equipment. If I wanted a catered dinner, which is what this was, I could have ordered it from a restaurant for WAY less than $130 per person. To say we were disappointed with our meal is a MASSIVE understatement. Chef Lorenzo was a complete waste of money. Ordering DoorDashed Olive Garden would have been better than our experience with him. I would give him zero stars if that was an option, but it isn’t. I wish upload pictures of our kitchen to explain the disaster it was, but I can’t. UPDATE: Chef Lorenzo has offered to provide a $250 credit for a future meal for our bad experience. Instead we will be disputing the entire transaction with our credit card company since nothing met our expectations.
