Chef Nancy is an excellent host and entertainer. I thoroughly enjoyed the lessons she imparted on us and the welcoming atmosphere she created at her home. We ended up being a group of four and we each assisted in preparing one dish each. Chef Nancy explained each dish and encouraged us to taste various ingredient to understand the different flavor profiles. This a great environment for beginners and it isn’t intimidating at all for novice cooks.

Portion of food was great, we even have some food that we took home. More observational than interactive, but very informative, Chef Wei’s Dim Sum class was an entertaining way to spend an evening. Folding the different dumplings, rolling tapioca pearls, and chopping some veggies, followed by eating everything made us feel very comfortable about trying the recipes at home in the future. Where do I begin? My wife and I celebrated our anniversary by booking the chicken Adobe cooking class with Chef Nancy and it was AMAZING. She is so welcoming, so knowledgeable and we had the best time. This review box is not long enough to express the fun we had - and the food was to die for. Our young adult children set up Chef Nancy for our anniversary dinner. Chef Nancy and her husband welcomed us with kindness into their home for the evening. As we entered we were immediately greeted with the wonderful aroma of spices. Chef Nancy taught us cooking techniques, and we were directly involved in preparation of all of the dishes we enjoyed that evening. Nancy and her husband also talked about the history of the Philippines and the art of cooking. We would highly recommend to anyone who wants good memories and extraordinary Filipino cuisine.

CozyMeal with Chef Michael definitely exceeded my expectations. He was an awesome teacher he took his time to not only demonstrate and give hands on but to explain what and why. There's something comforting about watching Chef Staci in the kitchen. She loves to cook and she gets a genuine thrill from seeing people enjoy her food. She traveled the world in the military and picked up cooking techniques from all over. Both Chef and her cooking have a down home comfort that will leave you with a smile.

I enjoyed Chef Michael's menu which started with a Mexican-inspired shrimp appetizer and moved on to a more southern style pork sandwich and green beans. Chef Michael walked me through the preparation and cooking. He answered all my questions about techniques and finding great ingredients. It was obvious he's passionate about food and cooking. Can't forget the peach cobbler a la mode which was perfection!

The class is was just “okay.” We could have used some more attention. We were promised by the instructor that two assistants would be helping with the class. However, they were loud and distracting in the background talking and helping “Chef Monica” prepare for her next class and neglected to help our instructor other than occasionally throwing out trash. I almost cut myself twice and no one seemed to notice. The instructor got off-topic a lot too. I’d like to have a more personalized experience. There was not much monitoring of the customers and I felt a bit lost at times. Assistants that were dedicated toward our class and not “Chef Monica’s” would have been helpful.
