In this cooking class, you will learn the secrets to crafting the ultimate gourmet smash burger over a custom-converted Santa Maria wood-fire grill. From mastering live-fire technique to building bold, layered flavors from scratch, this session is designed for anyone who takes summer cooking seriously.

 

You'll open with a grilled peach and arugula salad with Goat Cheese, candied pecans and honey-balsamic vinaigrette before moving into the main event – smashing and searing a custom beef blend to order, topped with melted cheese and cilantro-lime chimichurri on a toasted brioche bun. Santa Maria street corn with roasted garlic aioli and Cotija rounds out the savory side, before a cast-iron berry and stone fruit crumble with vanilla bean ice cream brings the session to a close. A good time was had by all! We made coconut shrimp, jerk salmon with mango slaw, red beans and rice, fried plantains, and coconut cake! And it was delicious! Chef Damon was fun!

Chef Damon was amazing! He was very personable and cooked a delicious birthday meal. The food was top-notch and so was Chef Damon. Would recommend his services to everyone. He plated the meal so nicely. It was like going to a high end restaurant at home. He cleaned up everything and made it super smooth
