You’ve enjoyed bagels and pretzels from time to time, now you can learn to make them from an accomplished chef who has a passion for baking. Chef Clemence brings her background as a food consultant, recipe developer, and owner of her own business specializing in desserts to provide you with the fundamentals of preparing these popular and fluffy treats, along with their condiment counterparts.
You will begin by learning about baking plain, cinnamon, and everything bagels to cover all tastes. Next, you will discover how to create your own classic soft pretzels, as well as salted, for that added dash of flavor. No bagel or pretzel would be complete without the appropriate condiments, and you will learn to prepare mouth-watering homemade cream cheese and seasonal jam.

Meet your chef
Chef Clemence was born in Paris and developed a taste for buttery, sweet and chocolate-filled pastries early in her life. And her love for chocolate has never waned. Her parents moved from France to Washington, D.C. where she perfected her chocolate chip cookie recipe. She studied film in Syracuse, New York, worked at Fox in L.A. for a stint before her friends convinced her to open a dessert company. Besides teaching, she also develops recipes and serves as a food consultant.
