Discover how to brighten up the solemn winter mood of Russian cuisine with Chef Shakti.
In this hands-on class with Chef Shakti, you'll learn how to prepare a fresh, light, and filling four-course vegan menu with a modern touch and traditional Russian flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Chef Shakti will begin the class by teaching you how to concoct a homemade dressing for a garden-fresh salad. Then, you'll learn how to brew vegan borscht founded on the earthy sweetness of ruby red beet shards. You can also look forward to preparing an aromatic potato and mushroom dish, and a kicky fruit salad for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Shakti was so friendly and welcoming to her cozy apartment. She was informative and made the experience fun and comfortable. I would highly recommend any of her classes. We did the New American Vegan and the food was delicious, and so simple to make! I can't wait to make it again for my friends.

We drove 3 hours to attend and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and she explained all the little details very well.
