Chef Lorenzo was amazing! What a great way to spend our Friday night.....any night, really! You feel like you have known him forever, he is very friendly, patient and lets you be hands-on. The food was delicious, we barely had to clean our plates. Definitely booking him again for another Italian home made meal!

This was our first cooking class. Chef Lorenzo was great! Very professional and the menu we were taught today was fantastic! Will do it again!

This was such a personal, fun, and new experience for me and my husband. The menu offered flavorful and rustic Italian flavors. The combination of learning techniques and balancing fresh ingiedients was a memorable experience with a chef who was very inviting, patient, and talented.

Chef Lorenzo's food was great, very lively, fresh and flavorful. The four dishes were great​! ​T​he burrata was fresh ​and ​delicious​;​ the truffle oil from the meatballs on purée was the perfect amount to bring all the flavors together.​

The hubster and I were fighting over the last bite of truffle gnocchi. He had the Italian sausage and didn't even consider saving me a bite to taste which must have meant it was delicious enough to warrant a night in the dog house. We also had the pumpkin ravioli which is one of those things that always sounds amazing but winds up in a sweet that either leans chalky or way to sweet. Not true with Il Firoentino - it was a perfect dish and I'm slightly worried that I will now become a stage 3 stalker and gain 100 lbs but you only live once - and you should definitely check this one out!

We spend a lot of time in Italy and this food is as good as being in Liguria! Between three of us, we had the risotto special, lasagna (very light and tasty) and gnocchi - clean plates everywhere! Everything is cooked to order, the truck looks spotless, great staff - Bravo Lorenzo."

My wife and I split the Caprese salad and the Mahi sandwich, and we were both very impressed. The Mahi filet was thick and cooked perfectly, and the sauce was a great compliment. The Caprese was the simple classic we were hoping for, but the tomatoes were not quite ripe. Still an great meal and hope to see this truck around more often.

Wonderful company! We used them to cater our wedding and they did a phenomenal job! The food was amazing and the guests really happy. Don't miss out this chef is amazing!

Il Fiorentino puts out amazing food at very reasonable prices, and should you get the chance to try their food, please drop everything and do so immediately. We had Il Fiorentino and several others roll up to cater our wedding in Key Largo. They took care of our rehearsal dinner as well as several entrees for our wedding, and they absolutely rocked it. Everything they made was excellent, and it's all made from scratch. Their gnocchi was as good as anywhere I've had, with just the right amount of heat to make it great. For our rehearsal, they served burrata, pumpkin ravioli, as well as two entrees that they don't serve from their truck normally (sorry!). I'd put their burrata and rav up against any restaurant anywhere, and to get it from a truck at very affordable prices is mind-blowing. Bottom line, they'll be a restaurant soon, so get it from a food truck while you can. Or, if you're looking for a kick-ass caterer, Il Fiorentino is your truck."

Hankering for a meal created by a chef who worked at some of the finest Michelin-rated restaurants in Europe? No need to drive to some fancy-schmancy hotel restaurant and pay $30 for valet. Just find out where Il Fiorentino is parked for the evening. This food truck is unique in Miami (and maybe the world), for in it, one chef Lorenzo Lapi serves some of the finest Italian cuisine you'll ever eat. The handsome young chef might be easy on the eyes, but he's difficult to understand. After all, he hails from Florence, and when he gets excited explaining a dish, he peppers his speech with his native tongue. But there are no language barriers to his food. So here's a tip: When the chef suggests his polpettine di carne con purè di patata e olio al tartufo, he's offering you his version of the classic meat and potatoes. Handmade meatballs rest on a bed of fluffy truffle-scented mashed potatoes. Other gorgeous interpretations of classic dishes include a near-perfect risotto alla zucca, caprino e salsiccia, made with butternut squash, goat cheese, and Italian sausage. All pastas are freshly made, vegetables are locally sourced, and olive oil is imported from his homeland. Someday Lapi will certainly have a restaurant with difficult-to-get reservations, but for now you can grab his food from a truck. It's the foodie equivalent of buying shares of Apple stock in 1980 — and paying with pasta.
