Great teacher!! Learned so much!

We really enjoyed baking with Chef Romi today! We made cheesecake, chocolate lava cakes, key lime tarts and chocolate pudding from scratch and everything was delicious! She’s a very nice person, a great teacher and she made the class a lot of fun!

Chef Romi was patient and a good teacher. My husband and I had a lot of fun and really enjoy the class!!

It was a very comfortable and welcoming environment. I would definitely recommend to couples!

Chef Romi's chocolate volcano was at the perfect temperature and the cake was moist. She manages time very well, and had experience with the dishes that were planned.

Romina was delightful to meet and very good at what she does. The pastries we made were great and we were given containers to take home the remaining pastries we could not eat, (TOO MUCH) I would highly recommend joining Romina for her classes and spending a great afternoon with her!!

My wife and I had a truly amazing experience learning to bake Latin pastries with Romina. We cannot recommend this experience enough to locals or tourists. If you are looking to do something fun, different, and out of the box, look no further than baking with Romina. After booking this experience, Romina immediately contacted us and made herself available in case we had any questions prior to the event. Romina is an amazing Baker and and excellent teacher. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and welcomed with open arms. We immediately felt, right home and were treated to some delicious tea and coffee. Romina introduced herself and presented us with menus of the different Latin pastries we would baking. The menu also contained the recipes for all the pastries, which was great, because we were able to take it with us to try at home. Romina also explained the origins of the pastries, which was also interesting to learn where they come from as well as how they are traditionally made. After this introduction, we put on our Aprons and got to baking! Romina set the mood by playing traditional music from the regions where each pastry was from. Romina also had all the ingredients prepped and ready to go, which was great because we were able to immediately get to the fun part of baking. She then taught us how to work with the ingredients and how to incorporate them together to create different textures, and flavors, to create delicious latin pastries. Romina is very patient and teaches you step by step process to make these delicious pastries at home. It is unbelievable how fun and simple it all is, and even more unbelievable that the finished pastry is something you created. After everything is baked, Romina prepares all four of the different pastries for everyone to sit down to taste each one. This is the best part, because everyone gets to enjoy and discuss their experience over tea and coffee. I could not believe how delicious the pastries we made were, and it was even more fun sitting down afterwards to eat and discuss our experience with each other. Romina also provided us with some additional baking recipes, baking tips, and ideas to take home and try out. This was a truly amazing and fun experience that I would recommend to anyone. Romina is an amazing baker and incredible host! Do yourself a favor and go bake some delicious pastries with Romina!

The baking course absolutely exceeded out expectations, Romi has some real teaching talent with personal touch. Sad about our vacation being so short otherwise we would have visited another course!

I loved taking Romi's class! It's one of the most fun and intimate cooking classes I have taken. She takes great care of her students and the end result is always delicious! If you're looking for something new or different in Miami, I highly suggest taking her classes!
