I graduated from Bauman College in Berkeley, where I combined my love of food with my interest in holistic nutrition. I served as the personal chef to Billy Corgan (of Smashing Pumpkins fame), and was the vegan chef for the Vans Warped Tour for 7 years. Chef Alyssa is awesome! Her dishes are so inventive and flavorful and she's really fun to work with. I never would have thought of cashew sour cream but it's such a great substitution. The perfect end to the meal was Chef Alyssa's amazing Mexican chocolate mousse. It was so much more flavorful than most mousses I've had and supremely satisfying.

I loved these desserts, and felt so good afterward. It may have been the raw cacao, which certainly added some pep to my step, or the chia seeds, which I learned can fuel long runs with their hydrating powers. Each dessert was super satisfying and rich while still being nutritious -- I don't know how Chef Alyssa does it!
