I seriously cannot recommend Chef Justin enough. He is a true professional, but made the experience so fun and comforting at the same time. The dishes he made/taught us to make were by far the best and most fresh sushi I’ve ever tasted! I would book this experience 10x over again and recommend him to anyone looking for a fun date night or day with friends!

We had an amazing meal and experience with Chef Justin. Chef Justin was very communicative prior to the experience. Chef Justin arrive 15 minutes prior to start time in order to get set up. We helped prepare and ate seafood salad, a few rolls (proteins: salmon, shrimp, crab, beef) and mochi ice cream (green tea, strawberry and vanilla). We learned so much and the meal was beyond delicious. Overall it was the best time and the food was so great we would recommend this to anyone. Thanks Chef Justin!

One of the most fun things I’ve ever done! My BF and I have been ravin about it for days. Justin was super helpful, hilarious, and made the whole experience even better. The food was delicious, and he went above and beyond—chatting with us about anything, taking tons of pictures (so sweet!), and letting us get creative with handrolls + other rolls after making the main menu items. We were in a bit of a rush at the end, and somehow, he cleaned everything up in like 10 minutes. Highly recommend. We were also STUFFED and had leftovers.

My boyfriend and I had such a fun experience with this sushi class! Chef Justin was kind and patient, guiding us through various sushi-making techniques. He thoughtfully accommodated my allergies, ensuring the menu was both gluten-free and dairy-free. Everything was well-organized and timely, and most importantly, the sushi we created was absolutely delicious! Chef Justin was wonderful! He is very nice, clean, and so prepared! We had a wonderful experience learning new cooking techniques. We made a cucumber-seaweed salad and several different sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri. He also brought matcha ice cream for us to enjoy later. We loved this experience and definitely recommend!

This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Chef Shelley is not only a gifted chef but also a warm, engaging teacher. We did the class with my girlfriend, my son, and my 13-year-old daughter, and she made every step of the process fun, informative, and hands-on. She guided us through the prep, ingredients, and cooking techniques — but what really set this apart was how she explained the why behind each step. We learned what the “holy trinity” is in Cajun cooking, why a pinch of sugar enhances tomato-based dishes, and why a splash of lemon juice is key when working with apples. Together, we cooked a delicious Cajun meal: classic salmon over maque choux (a Creole succotash), and excellent chicken étouffée, and a perfectly spiced Southern-style apple crisp. Throughout, Chef Shelley shared amazing stories from her time cooking in New Orleans and New York City — plus insider commentary on restaurants (the best and ones to avoid), chefs, and food trends. It genuinely felt like she knows (and has cooked with) everyone in the food world — including being friends with members of The English Beat! Between dishes, she also treated us to samples of artisan hot sauces, barbecue sauces, spices, and even a caramel apple — all from brands she consults with or has helped develop. Her passion for the culinary arts and the specialty food world is infectious. Chef Shelley is a delightful host, a brilliant storyteller, and a deeply knowledgeable chef. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough — truly one of the best experiences we’ve had.

We had such a wonderful time cooking with Chef Gustavo! He’s an excellent teacher, and his knowledge really shines through. After the class, he even gave us tips on where to find ingredients so we could recreate the dishes at home. The whole experience was fun and informative, and the food was absolutely delicious! We took "The Flavors of Chile" class, and everything we made tasted incredible. From the moment my wife and I stepped into his kitchen, Chef Gustavo's warm and personable nature put us at ease. His passion for cooking was immediately evident as he introduced us to the evening's menu, which featured a delightful array of dishes. We began with sautéed shrimp infused with garlic, parsley, and dried chiles de árbol atop green plantain cakes. Chef Gustavo guided us through the process of preparing and cooking the plantains, demonstrating techniques that were both practical and impressive. Chef Gustavo's professional demonstration made a seemingly daunting task accessible and fun, especially with wrapping fillets in banana leaves. The sweet crêpes for dessert were the perfect conclusion to the meal. Chef Gustavo's couples cooking class was as enriching as enjoyable, highlighting Chef Gustavo's vast expertise and ability to create an engaging and informative atmosphere. Chef Justin is warm and welcoming. We learned about the history of sushi but we also acquired the skills to make it ourselves. The class was exceptionally well-organized, with all the necessary ingredients and tools laid out neatly. Chef Justin's attention to detail was impressive, and he took the time to explain the importance of selecting the freshest fish and perfecting knife skills. Always a fun night with Chef Gustavo. Good conversation- he makes everyone feel like part of a family while we cook and eat together. This was our second meal with him. We would definitely book a third. We did three types of meat - they were so good. I was a skeptic when he only seasoned with salt, but wow just cooking over the flame added such flavor, salt was all you needed.

We were already good, long-time friends, but cooking together and eating what we cooked added something new and magical to our bond. Having Jordan as a chef was a blessing.
