Chef Neil, who recently moved to Portland from the East Coast, has ample experience working in restaurants but recently decided to devote his career to teaching and becoming a personal chef. His Korean roots inspired this class with some of the flavors brought from overseas; classic Korean dishes with a personal twist that chef Neil brings to the table are spicy, crunchy, flavorful and so fun to make! Learn about the ingredients, and how to blend them into an international adventure you can later share with your friends and family.

Chef Neil has an extensive array of culinary experience, from utilizing high speed and efficiency as a cook for Shake Shack, to preparing oysters in Union Square, to creating high-end Mediterranean/modern American cuisine for Jose Andres’ restaurants. He values every experience, and it helped shape him into the chef he is today. Being half Korean and half Italian, his heritage also plays a huge role in his culinary expertise.
