WHAT YOU’LL DO

Make homemade French éclairs from scratch in this fun hands-on pastry cooking class.

In this cooking class, you will master the pastry techniques behind classic French éclairs, from cooking a light pâte à choux to whisking a rich vanilla crème pâtissière. You will pipe your own éclair shells, learn the secret to an even bake and pick up consistent, bakery-quality tips you can use in your own kitchen.


Then comes the fun part: filling your éclairs with cream and dipping them in homemade chocolate ganache until they look just like the ones from a Parisian patisserie. Pack your éclairs in a to-go box and enjoy the sweet payoff of your hard work at home. Book your spot today!


This class takes place at the chef’s location with a minimum of three people. If the minimum isn’t met, you will be offered another date.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Your Menu

Step 1: Prepare Vanilla Pastry Cream (Crème Pâtissière)
With milk, flour, sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla
Step 2: Make Choux Pastry (Pâte à Choux)
With flour, milk, butter and eggs
Step 3: Pipe and Bake the Éclair Shells
Learn to pipe evenly sized éclairs using a piping bag and tip
Step 4: Prepare Chocolate Ganache
With chocolate, cream and butter
Step 5: Fill and Decorate Your Éclairs
Fill the baked shells with vanilla pastry cream and dip them in chocolate ganache
Step 6: Pack Your Éclairs to Take Home
Carefully package your finished éclairs in a to-go box
