WHAT YOU’LL DO

Bake colorful French macarons with chocolate and buttercream fillings in this fun hands-on cooking class.

In this cooking class, Chef Marie-Anne teaches you step by step how to make classic French macarons, starting with the history of macarons and the secrets to a velvety Swiss meringue. Next comes macaronage, the delicate folding technique that decides whether your batter turns out flawless or flat.

From there, you will choose your colors, pipe perfectly round shells and bake them until they are just right, with tips for consistent results. Then comes the best part: filling them with rich chocolate and seasonal buttercream, which also happens to be the tasting portion of the class. No pastry experience is needed, only a sweet tooth and a playful spirit. Book your spot today!

This class takes place at the chef’s location with a minimum of three people. If the minimum isn’t met, you will be offered another date.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
