Chef Timothy is living his childhood dream as a personal chef and culinary instructor in Nashville. With past experience that includes teaching cooking classes for kids and working as a private chef, Chef Timothy is an engaging teacher for all ages and skill levels. We had the BEST time making sushi for my husband’s birthday! Chef Timothy even involved our kids in the process! Now sushi isn’t so intimidating! Definitely signing up for his 2nd-level class!

Chef Tim came to our house fully prepared with four courses ready to cook! We loved having him over. He was great with our teenagers and our pets. We loved seeing him take command of our kitchen and utilizing every square inch of the space with volume and efficiency we have never seen the room used in such a dynamic and efficient way. He made him self at home and transformed our space effortlessly. We will have him back! Delicious!

We had a great experience with Chef Tim. He arrived with delicious fresh fish flown in from Japan the night before. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He explained everything and answered all of our questions. The recipes he taught us were delicious. He was very patient with my teenage granddaughters. We all loved the experience. We made so much food that we were able to share it at a birthday dinner that evening.

My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful evening taking Chef Tim's pizza making class! Tim is incredibly patient, engaging, and passionate about his craft, and he truly cares about sharing his vast knowledge of all things in the kitchen. Also a HUGE bonus that the pizza class includes eggplant parmesan and cannoli - totally worth it! I would highly recommend Chef Tim to anyone who is looking for a fun & delicious experience!

Our experience as fantastic.....I'd highly recommend Chef Tim. He was an expert chef, terrific source of information on cooking in general, knew the Nashville scene really well, and kept us all entertained as well as engaged.

What a great experience! Chef Timothy was so well-prepared, knew so much about food, and had a lot of great tips to offer. He developed the recipes we made himself and was very generous about sharing them with us at the end of the class. The kitchen was spotless at the end of the class, and we had a ton of leftovers to enjoy afterwards. I can’t recommend this class more — the food was expertly prepared by Timothy and tasted amazing.

Fantastic 5 course meal with large portions. Chef Timothy rocked it. Our 2 toddlers are the pickiest of eaters and they went to town on the chicken fried rice and are on day 3 of leftovers. I fear the day in which we finally run out! Timothy also took the time to clean up and made it look as if he was never even here.

Incredible experience with Chef Timothy! An anniversary dinner to remember. Food was coursed out really well and all tasted fantastic. Chef was extremely knowledgable, both in the history and science behind all the things he cooked for us and more dishes he enjoys. Chef Timothy was professional and organized. He came about 45 minutes early and got the kitchen ready. Our appointment was 6 p.m. and our class started just a few mins. after 6. Our class was Seafood Essentials. The food he prepared was very delicious, especially his shrimp cocktail and crab cake sauce. In fact, he prepared a lot for us that we couldn’t finish all. While we ate, he cleaned up the kitchen and rinsed off the dishes for us. He has a good sense of humor and he doesn't mind telling us his background and life story. He’s very open and courteous. We admire his work ethics and hard work all his life. We are very pleased with this cooking class experience.

Chef Tim was absolutely excellent! He did a great job facilitating an engaging and fun sushi making class as a team building activity for me and my colleagues. Tim is passionate about cooking, which made it really fun for the entire group. He shared context behind what we were making and offered his expertise around other cuisines people were interested in.

Chef Timothy provided a truly incredible experience. He made it so easy for us, and was an absolute wealth of knowledge on anything culinary. Timothy was very easy to hang out with for an afternoon. Amazing! Chef Timothy was a delight to have and a gracious guest. He arrived promptly and was extremely well organized. He was knowledgable on each aspect of the menu and went above and beyond by messaging us to inquire what he should prep ahead of time as to give us the maximum amount of time in the session to make the food and ask questions. It was a laughter filled experience with continuous conversation about the meal, Japanese culture, his life experiences, and even pop culture - haha. He gave us time to enjoy each dish before moving onto the next and cleaned up as he guided us through the experience. Chef Timothy was fantastic. He came earlier in the day to drop off the supplies and fresh fish (quality control on the product) and was prompt to arrive on time later in the evening. He cares tremendously about the experience and really helping teach the base skills required.

The chef was nice and accommodating but the foods were beyond unsatisfying. Fish products were limited and not fresh. Meat stuffing in dumplings were sour. It tasted like overdue meat. I have hired private chefs to my private chef events before and this was definitely not the best experience we had. My kitchen was left a mess. Supplies were left in random areas of my house and very disorganized. I usually do not give bad ratings but this did not meet my expectations at all. I hope he does a better job at sanitation, organizing, and prepping for his future events.

Chef Timothy is a wonderful guy and very knowledgeable. The class structure needs a bit of tweaking though, and his organization/delivery needs a bit of work. He was super open to constructive criticism so hopefully he will fine tune his presentation to flow a bit better, get food on the table quicker, and read the flow of the room a bit better. All in all though, there were lots of smiles and we all left with full bellies.

There were 26-28 people for the class and the Chef…too many people. It was unorganized and we basically taught ourselves, with the help of the guest around us. On a positive, the Chef was trying his best and the people around were really nice.
