Learn the art of homemade baking in this hands-on cooking class in Palo Alto (The Bay Area). Start by preparing roasted squash, sage and ricotta focaccia, then bake rustic French bread in a Dutch oven for that perfect crust. You’ll also make salted butter completely from scratch to pair with your fresh loaves. Chef Andrea or a resident chef will guide you step by step, sharing simple tips for kneading, proofing and baking. Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

Her culinary education revealed a love and specialty for baking and pastry craft. Her life is filled with family, fur friends, music and sports. All of this activity is the perfect fuel for energizing Chef Andrea as she dreams up new methods for helping her students hone their kitchen skills.

Not a good cooking class. Venue was tight. Chef was pushy and rushed. We skipped making ice cream
