Embark on a culinary journey with Chef Benoit, where you'll explore the perfect blend of fresh, vibrant ingredients and timeless French techniques. This hands-on cooking class will teach you to create a refined, well-balanced meal from start to finish.

Start with a chilled cucumber and avocado soup, paired with smoked salmon, cilantro, crispy croutons and a touch of sour cream for a refreshing dish. Then, craft a roasted branzino filet topped with an almond, Parmesan cheese and panko crust on a rich beurre blanc. Serve it alongside wilted spinach and parsnip purée. Conclude with a traditional sour cherry clafoutis baked to perfection.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We cooked an almond crusted fish with white sauce, cucumber avocado soup and cherry clafoutis for dessert. The chef was knowledgeable and kept the group on task. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our time and learned a few new cooking techniques.

I HIGHLY recommend Chef Benoit’s classes. I have taken both the fish and beef dinner classes. Both of the meals were beautifully curated and delicious. The recipes were easy to understand and follow, yet the results were elegant and very flavorful. Chef Benoit works with your specific skill level to teach you the techniques needed to prepare these dishes. I have since re-created both menus for guests and they were both hits! I learned new skills in the kitchen like chopping techniques, flavor pairings, and I even filleted my first fish! His home is beautiful and clean and both him and his wife are very warm and welcoming. Thank you, Chef Benoit, for sharing your knowledge and wonderful energy with us!

Chef Benoit provided an excellent experience, sharing his extensive experience preparing French cuisine in a relaxed and comfortable environment. He expertly walked us through the preparation of a relatively easy recipe that was both piquant and practical in equal measure. I highly recommend the experience to anyone who enjoys French cuisine.
