Being class by crafting crispy shrimp fritters, followed by silky, savory egg drop soup. Next, fry an impressive whole pompano fish and top it off with crisp green mango swimming in spicy fish sauce. For dessert, indulge in a traditional banana and tapioca pearl dessert.

Chef Thuy showed me how to make Japanese dumplings. She clearly talked about each ingredient as she cooked. I learned the technique of partly frying and partly steaming. This is how they are crunchy on one side and still soft and chewy on the other. They looked delicious when they were done. She also showed me how to make a homemade dipping sauce for them. She was very friendly and we had a nice conversation during the class.
