WHAT YOU’LL DO
Chef Christine will introduce you to French dishes that work for both lunch and dinner.
Intimidated by French cuisine? With a few helpful make-ahead tips and techniques from Chef Christine, you can master this versatile and classic French menu.
First, make salad lyonnaise with frisée, bacon, bread, shallots and red-wine dijon vinaigrette. Follow this with coquille St. Jacques, a classic presentation of scallops, mushrooms, cream, shallots, herbs, Gruyere and lemon. Last but not least, learn how to make crème brûlée, a custard of cream, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla that is browned on top with a blow torch to produce a delicious crunch.
