Cooking Class - How to Host a Sushi Party

Learn everything you need to know to start hosting your own sushi parties at home!

In this hands-on class with Chef Liam, you'll learn a variety of fundamental culinary techniques that will allow you to prepare a spectacular spread of sushi as well as a Japanese-inspired dessert.

Chef Liam will begin by teaching on proper knife skills, rice preparation, fish handling and selection, and tempura. Then, you will have the freedom to design your very own sushi rolls based on your preferences using an array of fish and vegetables. For dessert, Chef Liam will teach you how to prepare matcha crêpes with lemon whipped cream.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

My 14 year old nephew and I had a great experience learning to make sushi! Liam was knowledgable, friendly and patient as learned to roll the sushi. I really enjoyed having a cooking class in the comfort of my own kitchen and Liam was also very respectful of our home cleaning up along the way and leaving our kitchen spotless. I will definitely sign up for more cooking classes in the future. It's such a fun, interactive way to spend time with family and friends and Liam was the perfect teacher!
