Cooking Class - The Basics of Sushi-Making

Chef Jimmy will show you the secrets of creating the perfect sushi. To start, Chef Jimmy will lead you through the basics of creating delicious sushi rice. Then, you will learn how to slice and layer fresh ingredients into two different classic sushi rolls: smoked salmon and avocado as well as a savory vegetable roll. Soon, you will be able to create sushi that would rival even your local sushi restaurants.

He has worked at some of the nation's top establishments, like the Ritz Carlton Hotel and the Allison, and in 2013, Chef Jimmy was honored as one of the "Best Chefs in Louisiana" and was chosen by fellow chefs as a promising "young gun" in the culinary world.
