In this hands-on class with Chef Mike, you'll learn how to prepare a three-course menu of Southern-style delicatessen delicacies that are worthy of royalty.
You'll begin with what Chef Mike believes to be the king of the South: crispy on the outside and tangy on the inside fried green tomatoes. The king needs his queen, which has been dubbed Chef Mike's sumptuous shrimp salad served on a warm, buttery croissant sided by sweet potato chips. For dessert, you'll discover why the chocolate chewy is the crowned prince of the South.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Mike and his wife were very easy going and detail -oriented with the instructions for making the legendary chicken & Waffle meal ! I could really tell that they were passionate and knowledgeable about preparing a tasteful dish but a dish that’s also appealing to the eye. Their class was amazing !!!! I will be booking them again in the near future ! My advice to anyone reading this message book Chef Mike and his wife you will not regret it.

Chef Mike & his wife were awesome! Not only was our experience fun, the food was awesome! We had a little hiccup during the scheduling process due to some unforeseeable circumstances; however, Chef Mike was very flexible and accommodating a new date that not only fit our schedule but also was a date that didn’t make us wait long! Chef Mike was funny, generous, and personable. We can’t wait to recreate our meal because it was so delicious! We highly recommend Chef Mike for a great time, a memorable experience, and super delicious food!

A coworker expressed his pleasure with Chef Mike and the Chicken and Waffle dish. I read over the reviews and decided to hire him myself as a surprise for my wife. Let me tell you... Chef Mike definitely earned me some points! My wife was surprised and we both enjoyed every moment! Chef Mike and his wife took their time with us and answered our many questions... even going in to great detail! He showed up early and left late... The description of the food is great, but it doesn't give the food the justice it deserves! They made everything so simple to understand and even gave us hand written instructions on how to do it ourselves. I told him a million times I will be having them back and I meant every word of it! Chef Mike, you and your wife were great... and my wife and I cant wait to have you back.
Chef Mike began his culinary career in 1985 learning the fundamentals of cooking and recipe development from a respected chef in a 4-star restaurant kitchen. After over 30 years of hard work and honing his culinary skills and style, Chef Mike became the owner and operator of a specialty deli serving up some of best Southern-style scratch cooking and a specialty desserts described as, "heaven on a plate."
