Chef Luana’s pizza class was fantastic! The first thing you learn is that great pizza is all about the dough, and Chef Luana does an incredible job explaining every step of the process in a way that’s both detailed and easy to follow. I had no idea how much craftsmanship goes into making the perfect dough until taking this class. Chef Luana is a wonderful teacher and is clearly passionate about what she does. My wife and I loved hearing her stories and learning the “why” behind each step, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The pizzas we made were absolutely delicious, and we left feeling excited to recreate them at home. We can’t wait to put our new skills to use and are already looking forward to taking more of Chef Luana’s classes. Highly recommended for anyone who loves pizza or simply wants to learn from an exceptional instructor!

This was a birthday surprise for my partner and we had such a good time! Chef Luana was warm, welcoming, and hilarious. She was very detailed and hands-on in teaching us how to make spaghetti and fettuccine, and you can really sense her passion! The sauces she made to go along with the pasta (vegetable and ragu) were both so fresh and delicious. We were so proud of how our pasta came out lol, it was harder than we thought but such a rewarding process. Chef Luana also gave us super yummy brioche for dessert, and a little birthday gift for my partner which was so sweet. Overall, such a fun and special experience, and we had an amazing meal - thank you Chef Luana!

We enjoyed a homemade ragu gnocchi and a cheese blend gnocchi - both were so yummy, we couldn’t pick a favorite! We also indulged in bruschetta, and dessert. Chef Luana grew up in a part of Italy not far from where my grandfather grew up, which made the whole experience even more special and we felt right at home! My wife has always gone out of her way to demonstrate her love and care for me, including taking me on a trip to Italy last year, my first time in Europe. So, when it bame time to celebrate her 60th birthday, I wanted to make it something that would touch her heart. She loves Italy and she loves cooking shows, so I thought that she might really enjoy some up close and personal time with an expert in preparation of Italian cuisine. I was blessed to find Chef Luana, a restauranteur from Italy with over 50 years of experience and someone who is committed to making time spent in her kitchen is joyous and scrumptious. Chef Luana walked us through the steps to make gnocchi, dressed three different ways, all while also making brushetta for us to nosh on. After the gnocchi Chef Luana brought out a cake that she made specially before our arrival to celebrate my wife's birthday. After three hours of cooking, eating, and listening to the chef's tales of running a restaurant in Italy we left feeling well satisfied. It was an event that helped jumpstart a full day of activites to bring a smile to my wife's face and heart and Chef Luana got the ball rolling. I highly recommend takng any of her classes. I intend to take both her pasta class and her pizza making class in the not-to-distant future.

Chef Luana gave us an unforgettable experience in her pasta class. Not only did we learn how to make incredible pasta, but we were treated to a meal constructed only from Italian ingredients. Everything from her olive oil, flour, and cheeses, down to the white pepper and salt (no joke!) she either brought home from her last visit to Italy or sourced from her importer so that the food she prepares is as authentic as it gets. While our sauce cooked, before we prepared our pasta, Chef Luana made us a simple salad, which was divine. My mom and I were both in awe of how delicious our vegetable pasta with fettuccini was. We were practically licking our plates! And after our meal, she made us an espresso (also brought to us from Italy!) and it was the perfect end to a perfect meal. Thank you Chef Luana for a fabulous mother-daughter class!

Such a fun and memorable experience! Chef Luana was warm, engaging, and made the whole pizza-making process so approachable—even for beginners. We made our dough from scratch, learned helpful tips on toppings and baking techniques, and got to personalize our pizzas. The class was super hands-on but still relaxed, and Chef Luana created such a welcoming, social vibe. It honestly felt like being at a friend’s house for a homemade pizza night—except with a pro guiding us every step of the way. Perfect for a date night or just something fun and different to do with your family. I’d definitely take another class with her!

It was such a fun filled class with Chef Luana. It was our mother's day celebration, child free time learning something new and Chef Luana made it very enjoyable. She warmly welcomed us in her home and in her kitchen and walked us through the pasta making effortlessly. The cooking and the stories made the experience feel like a Sunday dinner with your family. I definitely highly recommend Chef Luana for anyone who wants to learn how to cook or bake and I will definitely come back for more of her classes in the future.

Booked the class Succulent Handmade Gnocchi with Chef Luana in Los Angeles (Central LA)

The gnocchi class with Chef Luana was absolutely fabulous. My better half and I had the best time learning and experiencing true Italian cuisine from this master chef! Her authenticity and detail to creating the meal made us feel as though WE were Italian chefs. We have not stopped bragging about our experience with Chef Luana and how amazingly good the food was. We look forward to exposing our friends and family to the gifts of cooking/preparing meals that she offers. Needless to say, I highly recommend Chef Luana's cooking class! I've uploaded a few photos, but don't judge us too harshly. We are not quite at Chef Luana's level just yet!
