In this hands-on culinary knife skills class, Chef Kristin focuses on teaching traditional French and Japanese knife skills that can be used when preparing any meal.
You will begin class by learning the basics about different types of knives, how to properly hold and safely use a chef knife, and how to sharpen and hone knives. Then, you'll be able to practice your new knife skills and the full spectrum of cuts while slicing and dicing your way towards creating each item on the menu, which is gluten-free and vegetarian.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
