Join Chef Doug for an evening of light, romantic recipes from the South of France.
Explore the flavors of Provence in this elegant cooking course. Chef Douglas' menu focuses on fresh herbs and garden vegetables just like the home-cooking recipes of Southern France.
Guests will learn how to make four courses of Provencal cooking in this hands-on class. Chef Douglas shares his recipes for rainbow chard salad with roasted golden beets and pomegranate vinaigrette, and a Provencal vegetable gratin. Guests will learn how to make a beautiful rosemary and lemon roasted chicken with new potatoes, and roasted figs with mascarpone for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Delightfully surprised! Chef Doug created healthy, simplified options for the creative palette in all of us. No matter your food preference (sweet, salty or savory) he has dish for every comfort level.
Southern cuisine is a favorite of Atlanta native Chef Douglas, though time spent in Miami left him keen on Latin American and Caribbean flavors. The Le Cordon Bleu graduate honed his cooking skills at various eateries in Atlanta before working as a research and development chef for a well-known grocery store chain. Chef Douglas and his wife enjoy cooking for friends when they host themed dinners on Sunday evenings to explore new flavors.
