What You’ll Do

Discover a world of Japanese culinary techniques as you prepare maki, summer rolls and nigiri.

Practice and perfect your knife skills for a mouthwatering meal of sushi and nigiri. In this cooking class, Chef Justin will demonstrate and teach the proper techniques for making delicate, symmetrical slices of fresh fish to go in or on sushi rolls or sticky rice.

Learn how to make two different rolls like a pro: Sushi rolls, using a traditional bamboo mat, and shrimp summer rolls with flexible rice paper. Next, you'll masterfully wield chef knives as you slice fresh fish to enjoy nigiri style, and end by rolling some California-style sushi.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Booked this for my 9 year-old goddaughter's birthday present as she has become sushi obsessed lately. She and her cousin did this together and this was the perfect birthday gift. Chef Justin comes to your spot and he was patient, attentive, and charming. The girls had a great time, learned how to make sushi themselves, and made plenty to share. This was an awesome experience, highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I had such a fun experience with this sushi class! Chef Justin was kind and patient, guiding us through various sushi-making techniques. He thoughtfully accommodated my allergies, ensuring the menu was both gluten-free and dairy-free. Everything was well-organized and timely, and most importantly, the sushi we created was absolutely delicious! I can't recommend Chef Justin enough for anyone looking to try their hand at sushi making skills!
