Cooking Class - Mexican Favorites With Vegan Flare
Craft some of your favorite Mexican dishes using only vegan ingredients in this engaging cooking class. Chef Tina will teach you the tricks and techniques to create flavorful plant-based bites.
To start, you'll make spicy vegan queso made from cashews and poblanos and homemade chips to dip into it. Next, create crunchy origami tostadas from tortillas piled high with tempeh and avocado, and whip up a fresh cauliflower Spanish rice flavored with pico de gallo. Finish with a vegan spin on authentic Mexican flan: A perfectly creamy frozen flan cheesecake.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
