Learn how to prepare a gourmet, romantic menu for two with Chef Tera.

In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Tera teaches you how to create an elegant menu, perfect for a romantic evening. Practice preparing succulent seafood and balancing flavors and textures to create this gourmet meal.

Begin with a light pear and arugula salad in a honey-lemon Champagne vinaigrette. Next, practice searing scallops to pair with a silky corn purée. For the main course, craft a blood orange and bourbon glaze for salmon to serve with twice baked potatoes and rainbow carrots. Dessert is a luscious cheesecake with a tangy raspberry compote.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This was our first cooking experience and Chef Tera was so friendly and helped to make us a wonderful meal. We do wish there was an explanation for some of the steps, such as why we were doing something one way instead of another. We loved the meal, for the most part, dessert was partly not our favorite but overall it was a pretty great experience.
