Chef Jennie creates a warm Cuban cafe experience in this three-course cooking class where you'll prepare a variety of cafe favorites, including a classic Cuban sandwich and sweet espresso, along with learning smart cooking techniques.
Begin by preparing ham croquettes for an appetizer, then Chef Jennie will teach you how to build a classic toasted Cuban sandwich, complete with a side of handmade plantain chips. As class comes to an end, you'll learn the art of making espumita for Cuban coffee, along with homemade guava cookies.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

All I can say is AMAZING!!!! I booked a traditional Cuban cuisine private dinner for my birthday with chef Jennie. I flew all the way to LA from TN for this experience, and it was well worth it. Chef Jennie made my guest and I feel welcomed from the time we approached her location until we left. There was plenty of good food, good vibes, good drinks, and music. I will definitely be booking again soon. Thanks again ?

I had so much fun with Chef Jennie! She has a great deal of knowledge about Cuban cuisine and techniques, and her food is very authentic. She is really fun to work with and very outgoing. I look forward to learning more about Cuban cooking in the future with her.
Meet your chef
Chef Jennie’s love for cooking started at a young age as she grew up working in her father’s restaurant. She now brings a decade of professional culinary experience to the table. Chef Jennie most recently served as the executive chef at an eating disorder treatment center, which immensely grew her passion for helping others through food. She now owns her own business, and hosts and teaches interactive cooking experiences.
