In this hands-on class with Chef Katie, you will learn how to prepare an array of French pastries completely from scratch using high-quality ingredients and traditional French pastry techniques.
Chef Katie will begin the class by teaching you how to prepare a classic pâte à choux dough, which you will then shape and transform into your profiteroles, éclairs, and gougères. Then, you will learn how to create a variety of fillings and glazes, including a silky smooth French pastry cream, a sumptuous Gruyère-infused mornay sauce, and a velvety chocolate ganache.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
