Cooking Class - Southwest Cuisine Favorites
The cuisine of the Southwest has flavors it shares with Mexico, but with its own flair, and Chef Edgar will show you how to create the fusion of these flavors.
Begin the class with a crunchy coleslaw flavored with cilantro, lime juice and cornbread croutons. Then, move on to a favorite snack: Mexican street corn slathered with mayonnaise and crema, dusted with spices and sharp Cotija cheese then grilled. For your entrée, you'll make Patrón shrimp with white beans and chili peppers. You'll then learn how to make dulce de leche bread pudding for a sweet finish.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
