Booked the class Pizza in the Oven with Chef Mordechai
Chef Motti was amazing - he arrived with everything needed to jump right into the class. We asked for more focus on making the pizzas vs the other recipes, so he brought those delicious dishes already made. The toppings he brought were top-tier - two different tomato sauces he made from fresh tomatoes, homemade bechamel, three cheeses, fresh herbs, sausage, vegetables, etc. We dove in to hands-on sessions where he taught us about making two kinds of dough and forming the pizzas. Then we all learned how to get them in and out of the oven (we used our wood-burning Ooni and the electric one he brought). My husband had been having challenges in our Ooni with the dough sticking to the peel when putting them in the oven and topping falling off when he removed them, and Chef gave him tips on preventing that and recommendations for better tools (I had bought an Ooni brand perforated peel and it didn't get enough of the flour off the bottom). We made sooo many pizzas, so we got a lot of practice, and had leftovers to feed some hungry neighbors later on. It was a fun and relaxing afternoon spent chatting, cooking and eating - our teen boys even enjoyed it. We look forward to finding another excuse to cook with Chef Motti!

It was great experience working with chef Motti to learn how to make pizzas. Chef Motti is well- prepared for the class. He brought many different ingredients for us to make a variety of pizza. He also demonstrated how to use his portable oven to make pizzas within 2 min. I was very impressed by the way he made pizzas, super fast and delicious. Not only demonstrate how to make pizzas and other dishes, he also gave us background of pizzas, such as the origins of pizza flour, the key elements of a good oven for pizza, how to make your own starter for dough, the difference between feast dough and the sour dough. He gave us many opportunities to get hands-on experience to make pizzas on our own. I would certainly recommend chef Motti for his pizza class. It would be a delightful way to learn some good skills.

We had an amazing experience. The food was delicious - every thing chef made for us was wonderful. Chef Motti was so friendly, warm and attentive. We really had a wonderful time interacting with him and enjoying his creations. Chef Motti accommodated all our dietary restrictions and preferences. Highly recommend!

Chef Mordechai is amazing. My pizza making cooking class with Chef Mordechai was the best cooking class I ever had. The class is fun and very hands on. Chef brought a lot of extra materials for everyone to have plenty to practice and nailed the techniques and everything tasted amazing. Chef also agree to show us how to use my own wood burning pizza oven and share lots of tips. I will definitely recommend this class to everyone!

We had such an awesome class with Chef Moti! He came to our apartment and was so organized with the recipes and needed equipment that we didn't have. The Mediterranean food we made through his guidance SO delicious, truly some of the best med food I've had (and big portions, enough for leftovers :)). He was very accommodating with dietary restrictions, collaborating with me to come up with a menu that worked for our group. He created a fun atmosphere that my family all enjoyed, we shared laughs and stories of life. He taught us cooking techniques that I'm excited to take into our everyday cooking. Overall, our experience exceeded expectations. Thanks, Chef Moti!

We had a great class with Chef Motti! We’ve been trying to learn how to best use our new Ooni pizza oven and he showed us a bunch of helpful tips and tricks. He made our experience very interactive, and all of the food was delicious. We would highly recommend this class for anyone looking to learn about making pizza or hoping to up their game.

We had an absolutely amazing class with Chef Motti! I got this experience as a birthday gift for my husband and he said it was the coolest birthday gift! Chef Motti brought over such fresh ingredients and we had an incredible time making pizzas with him. He taught us so much in terms of making the dough, techniques for stretching it, how to properly place the pizzas in the oven, etc. Chef Motti was so kind and patient in answering any and all questions we had, and he was such a delight to spend time with. And to top it all off, the pizzas (and all the other food) were SO tasty!!! Some of the best pizza I've ever had. And we had plenty for leftovers! (He was also so efficient and thorough with all the clean-up after the cooking.) I would HIGHLY recommend this class, or any other experiences, with Chef Motti.

I purchased an outdoor gas pizza oven but had no clue how to use it. Chef Motti graciously set the oven up, taught me how to use it and make the most delicious at home pizza. His tips for working with the dough are invaluable. He’s an excellent teacher - personable, patient and encouraging.

Truly a 10/10 class. Chef Mordechai is the best! This was such a fun experience filled with great food, wonderful company, and valuable learnings. I cannot recommend this enough if you are looking for a date night or a fun evening with friends. He is very respectful of your home and answered all our cooking questions with ease, no matter how simple they were. It truly felt like we were learning from a master chef (because we were!).
