What You'll Do
Nibble your way around the world with a selection of Chef Daniel’s incredible international appetizers.
In this hands-on team building class with Chef Daniel, you and your colleagues will create a spread of small bites in this exciting workshop! You will work together to create seven small appetizers and then enjoy them together at the end of the class.
Chef Daniel's ultimate goal in this culinary experience is to make cooking accessible to everyone. Chef Daniel will instruct you and your team on the fundamentals of tapas preparation to nurture a confidence in your team and your cooking skills while encouraging exploration in the kitchen.

Originally from Argentina, with its own special mix of cultures, Chef Daniel has lived in Los Angeles for the past 35 years where he has been exposed to its rich diversity of cuisines. This wide range of experiences influences and informs his food on a daily basis, enabling him to borrow ingredients and techniques from one another. Chef Daniel aims to teach fundamentals to his students, so they need not rely on recipes.

Daniel hosted a fantastic class. The salad was inspired, hand-making the pasta was incredibly rewarding, and everything tasted fantastic. My husband and I had a good experience with chef Daniel. The food was very tasty and we learned a few tips. We went on a Monday so we had only 2 other people in the class which was nice. The best part was the hands on with the pasta making. Parking was easy (San Francisco, Mariposa st.) too. We would do this again!

Chef was fantastic, thoughtful, and clever in how he organized the meal and talked through the ingredient choices and process. We learned from simple ravioli to more complex tortellini, and a few in between. Highly recommend!

Chef Daniel's class was fantastic! He was warm and welcoming, patient, set clear expectations, and had a wealth of knowledge and experience. He was well prepared, demonstrated and explained best practices and techniques with how as well as why, and was a joy to work with.
The pizza itself was delicious! We'll be making it at home in the near future for sure! He gave lots of tips for preparation and for how the process might differ in our home setups.
We're looking forward to using Cozymeal again and booking a class with the chef in the future

This class was outstanding! The recipes were easy to follow, and the food was delicious. I have never met a flan that I liked, but hands down, his flan was the best that I have ever tasted. Chef Daniel curated an experience that was pleasant and enjoyable for myself and my friend. We had a great time, and the tapas and paellas that we were making are something that I can continue to make at home. It was delicious. But more importantly, Chef Daniel is patient and thoughtful. He shares his experience organizing one's kitchen, prepping before cooking, using a knife effectively, and managing the heat during cooking, all of those little things that make up an excellent dish. Something you couldn't get from merely reading and following the recipe. It is about learning great cooking habits and workflow. One tends to want to cook more often if one has a great workflow and process to achieve the desired outcome.

Chef Daniel led such a great and informative class! He is funny and friendly. My friend and I came together and made 3 pizzas - Margherita, White Pizza, and because I was allergic to pesto he allowed me to bring my own ingredients and make a Custom Pizza (spicy honey pizza)! He gave incredibly detailed explanations about not only what to do but why certain reactions happen in the process of cooking. We gained a better understanding of best practices in the kitchen. My friend and I are also from New York, and the pizza we made was the closest we’ve ever come across to a New York slice in the Bay Area!

Chef Daniel was great! We really appreciate the extra mile in teaching us not just how to make a New York style pizza but also using fresh ingredients, learning about the ingredients , why they are used and how they are used. It was like a cooking class/science class. We learned a lot and we are excited to make pizza with our family. Chef Daniel was friendly and yet very professional. The cleanliness of the environment used for cooking was impressive. Definitely Covid cautious.

I cannot speak highly enough about this class! Chef Daniel is very informative, making sure everyone is with him as instructions are given. He gives excellent background and reasoning for everything being done, which really helps to retain the information he gives. The food also turned out so much better than most pizza you would get at a local restaurant, and it was really entertaining and satisfying to eat what we had just made from scratch! A wonderful date night idea and I will definitely be coming back for more courses with Chef Daniel!

great class. My wife and I had a great time. It was great that he was encouraging questions to be asked and with the initiate feeling you felt like it was just us and the chef. The chef was great at explaining reasons and gave feedback..."no, this will not work" or "make sure you cook that a little longer" The only reason it was not 5 stars is that the chef was not using seafood like the rest of us. He did a good job explaining the veggies that he was using and how they compared to which seafoods we would cook. I would just have liked to see a similar dish when completed.

I booked a private empanada cooking lesson for my high school foods class with chef Daniel, and he was so accommodating and personable for my whole class. We all loved the personal touch he put on the class, and how reassuring he was with their knife techniques. He gave plenty of detail and worked well with our very slow pace, while directing students to divide their activities to time manage better. I really appreciated the class that he taught. This was a worthwhile experience!

We received a Paella Class from our kids as a gift. It was an amazing gift and extremely enjoyable. I have to admit that I was just somewhat interested. Chef Daniel made this such a great experience with his format. The atmosphere, pace, etc. was perfect and made for such a great evening for us, that we will be joining him again very soon. The Paella was wonderful. Need to work on our Socarrat a little, but thanks to Chef Daniel, we will get it perfect the next time!

Chef Daniel is a great social experience. He interacts with people in an enjoyable evening while teaching how to cook a dish. He knows how to manage various people of different skills to work to keep them all on pace seamlessly. I enjoyed how he explained more than the receipe but some of the science of how kneading dough works and others. It was more than a class it was an entertaining evening with strangers.

Chef Daniel's empanada making class was so much fun! He is easy to learn from and provided interesting background stories along with the cooking instructions. We were successful making our empanadas during the class and were able to make more on our own later in the week! We would definitely recommend Chef Daniel and Cozymeal for virtual cooking classes!

Chef Daniel's class was so informative and made for a great date activity. We had a great time in the class, Chef Daniel is a great teacher and was engaging. I have been trying for many years to find a way to make great homemade pizza but getting the dough right has always been a challenge. Tonight we were able to get the dough crispy on the outside but pillowy and chewy on the inside just as I have been trying to do forever. There were simple things he taught about working the dough that I had never known and I think really made the difference. Thanks Chef!

Love Chef Daniel’s classes!!! My husband and I make pizza regularly, typically sticking to the crust of a famous Food Network chef. Chef Daniel’s crust blew this one out of the water. The pizza from this past class & empanadas from our previous class have been cooked several times since class with Chef Daniel.

We had Chef Daniel for a group of about 15 people, ranging from many who hardly cook to a couple of folks who are "advanced cooks". He was clear and patient and we all had a great experience making the margherita and pesto pizzas. We were all able to follow his pace, and everyone from the beginner cooks to the more advanced cooks learned something including some very useful tips. Everyone was extremely pleased with how well everything turned out. These recipes are delicious and with Chef Daniel's guidance we all succeeded in making wonderful pizza. Thank you, Chef Daniel!

We were looking for a fun learning experience, and cozymeal turned out to be a good bet. Chef Daniel was excellent in demonstrating each process, and in explaining the purpose of everything he did and every choice he made. He was very patient and helpful with all of the “why doesn’t mine look like yours?” questions. His expertise and encouragement will keep us exploring new cooking ideas, and coming back for more.

I took Chef Daniel’s class for "Argentinian Holiday Empanadas" today and it was fantastic. Chef Daniel is very accommodating and warm-hearted instructor. I felt he did a great job with the pacing of the class and made sure to answer everyone’s questions. Even better... the food tasted great! Will definitely be taking more of his classes again!

Since we’re not traveling to see my parents for the holidays, I decided to coordinate a series of fun activities for them (some with my partner and me, some on their own). Empanada class with Chef Daniel was our first activity, and our first time cooking Argentinian cuisine. We loved it! Chef Daniel was friendly, gave instruction at a comfortable pace, and welcomed questions. It was a cool experience to take a cooking class in our own kitchen, (virtually) alongside folks in their kitchens all over the U.S. and even overseas.

This was our second Cozymeal class and have come to really enjoy the experience. Chef Daniel was great at making each step easy and understandable with a dish that we would've otherwise been too intimidated to try on our own. The food was amazing when completed!
I would recommend budgeting closer to 2 hours for this class as there are a lot of steps and while the pacing was perfect, we ran well over the estimated 75 minutes.

Chef Daniel gave a very interesting fun Paella class. My friend and I enjoyed the experience very much. We had a lovely dinner as a result. I had called the main tel.number to ask about preparing for the class and was told to get all the ingredients ready and prepared. So I ended up cutting the onions and red pepper the way the instructions described, while Chef Daniel did it differently. I preferred his way, especially re peeling the navel oranges. I would not recommend buying those Garcima Paella Pans, too thin and a pain to maintain.

Chef Daniel was great and I highly recommend him. The dishes were excellent and he taught very well. The volume was not good and it was hard to hear him the whole time so it would be good if he got a miscrophone attached to his computer. Also, Cozymeal should match the quantities in the recipe to what the chef says - they were different.

We really liked the class. We actually made the meal again the next day. We were the only two people in the class so the chef was focused on us. Also, the set-up was nice where we could see all the various stations well. The chef was also very knowledgeable and shared some tips and tricks. At times it was a little hard to hear him but since we were alone it was easy to ask him to repeat what he said. It wasnt clear the number of portions from the menu on the website so we had a little more seafood than we needed.

What a yummy way to spend an afternoon! Chef Daniel is the real deal and has a very zen way about him in the kitchen. We learned how to make NY style Pizza dough, classic and simple tomato sauce for a Margherita pizza, a pesto, and a bechamel for the white pizza. We even made fresh ricotta! He taught us the technique for shaping the pizza dough and made making pizza at home WAY less daunting but rather really enjoyable and fun! He gave us great tips along the way like what to place your pie on top of when placing in the oven. The speed at which you need to move when you're topping your dough on the pizza peel. All super helpful stuff. Highly reccommend ANY of his cooking classes. Thanks Chef Daniel!

Chef Daniel did a great job, explaining the key elements of the dishes, chopping vegetables, best ways to hold the knife, and some subtle things one needs to focus on to take cooking to a finer level. He was very friendly. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time.

I am still going to give Chef Daniel five stars for being genial and professional, even though it was very hard to navigate the neighborhood, as Santee is more of an alley than a street, and the building itself was hard to get into, with so many security features. I was late as a result.

This class was beyond amazing! My husband and I decided to take this pizza cooking class as our date day/night. We learned how to make 3 types of pizza from scratch. The best part is enjoying the pizza. It tasted very yummy. I would recommended this pizza class to everyone. Chef Daniel was very organized, detailed. His studio was the best place to learn how to make pizza.

Chef Daniel was AMAZING. I highly highly recommend him for anyone who is thinking of taking his class for a special occasion. We (group of 7) took a Bon Appetit class and it was just great from start to the end. His place was spacious and everyone got to be involved in making the three course meal. His steps were very easy to follow, he gave a great instruction on how to use the tools and history behind how/why such ingredients were used, etc. He made sure that everyone felt comfortable throughout. We all get to set up the table and enjoy the food at the end. Food tasted amazing, and you can expect the food and presentation to be as great as what you would expect from a high end restaurant. Overall, great vibe, it exceeded my expectation in every way.

Such a wonderful experience with Chef Daniel! My partner and I learned how to make tapas and a seafood paella, which turned out delicious! Having very little experience in culinenary, Chef Daniel makes you feel comfortable in the kitchen, which made the class enjoyable and fun! I would highly recommend this class for anyone who wants to learn (and of course eat!) Spanish cuisine.

We had so much fun in this class. Chef Daniel is extremely knowledgeable and gives you a hands on pizza making experience. Before the class, he ensured we had the appropriate directions (with pictures) to find his place easily and truly set the tone for an awesome evening. We plan on taking other classes with him and would definitely recommend him to others. During the class, we made 3 pizzas and he was hands on the entire time- ensuring we knew what we were doing, explaining how ingredients were working together, and setting us up for success when we try the same thing at home.

Chef Daniel was awesome! My fiance and I love to cook and wanted to do our engagement photos cooking. Chef Daniel's kitchen is so spacious and open and perfect for a big group. He accommodated our strange request to do our engagement photos during the cooking class. The food was delicious and Chef Daniel loves to teach and explain techniques while cooking. The class was located in Daniels home, he had every cooking tool possible in there. The class consisted of 4 groups of pairs totaling 8 people. We had a really fun group!
Really fun experience, we made everything from scratch the dough, the sauce he even showed us how to make ricotta cheese. Daniel was very knowledgeable and patient, even when we messed up our dough. Ha.
We cook 3 different pizzas and they were each very delicious! I’d recommend taking Daniels class.

Chef Daniel is great! My wife gifted me with a Paella and Tapas cooking class with Chef Daniel for my birthday, that I attended with my brother and my son. Daniel was very friendly and we immediately felt at ease as he guided us through the preparation of a wonderful seafood paella and several tapas. I know that I will draw from this experience when I am cooking at home; especially when I make my next paella. We just did the gluten-free Italian cooking class with Chef Daniel in LA. It was fantastic! We learned a lot about cooking technique. He lets you do as much as you are comfortable doing. My girlfriend and I took Chef Daniel's Argentine Feast class for date night, and it was a blast! His apartment has a beautiful wall of windows with a pleasant view of the LA skyline. He himself is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. We would highly recommend this class for anyone who has a passion for food. Chef Daniel was wonderful. We had a full four course meal and left very full and happy, and with great company throughout. We planned this for our date night and it was just the twist to the night we were looking for. We went to Chef Daniel's loft to cook, which was well-equipped with everything we needed. Everything turned out really well: seafood paella, flan was delicious, mushrooms with red wine sauce, and the Argentinian tortilla. Thank you again Chef Daniel!

This experience with Chef Daniel was nothing short of exceptional! I purchased this experience as a gift for my girlfriend as she wanted to do something a little different for her birthday. Chef Daniel was awesome! He did such a great job teaching all the intricacies of the Argentine cuisine and making sure we were comfortable with our understanding of certain techniques. Chef Daniel was great in not only teaching us how to cook but because such an excellent host in welcoming us into his house. We were the only ones that signed up for the day so it became a private class which was an extra bonus as we got to try and make it everything from start to finish. I'd definitely recommend this class!

Wow just wow! This was my first cooking class (and my significant other's) and all I have to say is wow. Daniel is beyond passionate about cooking, beyond considerate to people, beyond professional about business and beyond our expectations. He kept the mood light with a well timed jokes while educating us around cooking. I was nervous for two reasons, we had an allergy to one of the main dishes and we ran about 10 minutes late. I thought this may complicate things and make the session much more difficult. However Daniel saw it as a challenge and proceeded to ace the exam.
I will be taking a course taught by Daniel again, the hardest part is picking which one!

Chef Daniel was fantastic! I arranged an intimate meal for my team and he was the perfect teacher in giving us instruction to various tips for each dish. He was approachable, personable, patient and a master at managing the group but also giving us instruction and allowing us to do it on our own. The food was delicious and setup was perfect for our 3 course meal with appetizers....Not to mention his loft is fantastic for hosting a work team appreciation night! We will be back :)

It was a great experience learning how to make pasta with Chef Daniel. It was my girlfriends birthday and she always wanted to learn how to make pasta. Well chef Daniel made that dream come true and I got some brownie points too. It was a great time making pasta and sauce from scratch and the chef was very patient with the newcomers like us. Thanks Chef Daniel and we can't wait to take other classes with you!!!!

My girlfriend and I had a blast in Chef Daniel's class. The food was delicious. Paella took some real TLC but came out fantastic. The salad was also pretty out of this world. The tortillas were fun to make as well. Great date night.

Chef Daniel was incredibly accommodating. He and the cozy meal team honored my booking of Northern Italy for my boyfriend's birthday present despite it initially being listed as a corporate event. Chef Daniel allowed for us to jump in and perform hands on cooking of the meal. We engaged in making pasta dough with our hands and rolling through the machine while learning about sous vide cooking and finishing techniques. It was an incredible experience!

We just had the perfect evening with Chef Daniel. The food was phenomenal, and he helped us through every step of the process. The night ended with maybe the best Paella I've ever eaten. My GF and I went with another couple, and a healthy amount of wine. Chef Daniel was a delight. Could not recommend more highly.

My boyfriend and I took Chef Daniel's Tapas and Paella cooking class for my boyfriend's birthday and it was great!! The location is so fun and we learned so much, from cutting techniques to how to make a quick shrimp broth. We cook all of the time but had never made paella and it was an awesome learning experience and we will now add paella into our cooking rotation. Chef Daniel is so welcoming and we enjoyed spending our evening with him and the other dinner guests. Highly recommend!

Chef Daniel and his pizza making class was nothing more than extraordinary! I was a little skeptical at first since I have never used this site, but I can truly say that it was a fantastic experience the exceeded all expectations. It was very hands on and Chef Daniel took to the time to explain all the details that went into the pizza making and the science behind it. We were blow away by the quality of ingredients, taste of the meal and the amount of food we received. I cannot recommend Chef Daniel's cozy meal classes enough!

It was my husband's birthday and he enjoys watching cooking show so I booked a surprise class with Chef Daniel.
Chef Daniel was awesome and made us at home in his beautiful loft in downtown LA.
He was very patient and very detail oriented explained to us in details how to cut different vegetables ,use a knife and How to buy vegetables.
He had a very extensive knowledge in cooking but at the same time was very humble with suggestions.
We talked to him a lot and he also helped us understand the technicalities of cooking
We made a French bean soup and moussaka with him and both were wonderful
The reservation and arrangement was seamless

I booked time with Chef Daniel to make a vegetarian feast to help celebrate my wife's birthday. This was our first experience with a cooking class and we could not have been more satisfied. Our experience with Chef Daniel was excellent. He was warm, intelligent, interesting and skilled. He gave us great tips on our techniques and a lot of useful info about cooking in general. I would highly recommend spending time with Chef Daniel no matter what cuisine you are interested in learning to prepare. Just to give some context, I almost never write reviews for anything online, good or bad... but our experience was so good I felt compelled to do so.

We did a pizza making class with chef Daniel. He taught us novices how to make some really great classic sauces (pesto, bechamel). We requested "New York" style pizza and we loved the chewiness and crunch of the crust. He was also a pleasure to talk to and hang out with, really nice guy with an inspirational story!

Chef Daniel was so great!! My boyfriend and I had such a fun time. His loft is beautiful and provides such a welcoming back and efficient environment to learn. We learned a lot from chef Daniel and would highly recommend his classes to anyone. He allowed us to be very interactive with cooking and he shared every step with us along the way, from showing us how to use a knife properly to frying potatoes, etc. Chef Daniel was also great company and very fun to talk to!

I was blown away by how flavorful and delicious the meals we made were! I wanted to learn vegetarian cooking and Chef Daniel help me learn to create amazing dishes with very standard ingredients. He also showed me basic knife skills and showed me where I was going wrong in my own cooking. He gave me very clear insight into how to develop flavor - things I had heard about in cooking shows but did not understand. He was practical and let me be hands on in the kitchen during the whole process and I really feel that my eyes have been opened!

Chec Daniel was outstanding! We have several family members with moderate to severe gluten allergies who all love pasta. I got my wife a session with Chec Daniel to learn how to make gluten free pasta. He did a great job and accomodated our schedule. We will be sending more people his way. I really enjoyed learning how to make authentic paella with Chef Daniel! His space is simply beautiful, too--bright, modern, and the perfect spot for an evening cooking class. He is extremely knowledgeable and very kind, so he makes a really fantastic instructor. His demos of techniques are great, and I learned a ton during our time together.

My girlfriend and I took Chef Daniel's fresh stuffed pasta cooking class a few months ago. I had bought the class as a birthday present and we were both very excited going in. There were two other older couples there and the kitchen was clean. He began the class by telling us that he had been moving away from using animal based products so he had completely rearranged the menu to be almost fully vegan. This was upsetting and felt like false advertising. We were promised a spinach and ricotta cappelletti with belgian endive salad. Instead we had the following menu:
1. Cold gigante beans as the appetizer (prepared beforehand by the chef)
2. A very low effort shredded red cabbage salad with tomatoes and avocado and rice vinegar and olive oil (made by the chef while we worked on the pasta)
3. Ravioli (NOT cappelletti) with butternut squash filling (ONLY steamed butternut squash and nutritional yeast)
4. Vegan chocolate icecream (prepared by chef beforehand)
Not only were we disappointed by the menu, but his guidance was confusing and rushed. Instead of a step by step demonstration alongside the students, he would make the ravioli start to finish and have us replicate the entire process from memory. The worst part of the night was Chef Daniel's attitude. He spoke to us in a condesending way and made us feel like children. When we would chat and have a sip of wine, we were reprimanded by saying "the pasta needs to be finished". He criticizde the way I folded the pasta in a rude way, and passive aggressive comments all night. After criticizing us he even walked over to the table behind us and told the other couple "Your pasta is a little thin, but its so much than theirs. Theirs were way too thin" (pointing at us). Overall, we did not learn a single thing from this class, had the most mediocre dinner, and left feeling embarrassed, upset, and unwelcome. $300 down the drain thanks to Chef Daniel.

Food came out tasty but missed the point.
Prior to the class, we received several communications from Chef Daniel. In one of them, I let him know that One of my sisters and I were celebrating our other sister’s bday. We were seriously disappointed when he did it so much as acknowledge that it was her birthday. For some people, they may see this as something minor. But I booked another cozy meal class to celebrate my other sister’s bday last night and lemme tell you: ge dropped the ball. The other instructor not only highlighted my sister and another woman’s birthday, but she also gave a Mother’s Day toast. It really helped to build some festivity and group camaraderie. It was especially appreciated after Chef Daniel’s snub.
We received instructions prior to the class that directed us to measure and chop all of our ingredients in advance. Meal prepping is not fun, but it’s a necessary evil. Imagine my confusion and annoyance when the class started and he started throwing things in a pot with measurements that did not correspond to his directions. You could tell that some of the other class participants were similarly annoyed. Eventually, we sort of gave up and created a modified version of his recipe. I almost didn’t book another class on this app because of him. I’m glad I gave it another try, because after taking Chef Natasha’s class yesterday, I recognize that everyone is very different. Her ingredients lined up precisely with what we used in the class. She also explained what she was doing in detail.
In all, Chef Daniel Has some of the best looking classes, but I cannot recommend him because he really didn’t take the time to prepare and he also did not put a personal touch by recognizing that we were celebrating a birthday.

There could have been more interactive feedback. We did learn some important techniques. Recipe amounts were not accurate and way on the high side.. Our dough weight was less than the chef's while using the same recipe. Our pizzas were closer to 8 inches instead of 10 inches. We are glad we took the class because of what we learned.

Couldn't hear him at all, several other people had the same problem. I have hearing issues as well and I asked him to put the recipe or food amounts in the chat and he told me it was 1/3 cup of rice per person and to look it up myself. Very unhelpful. Seems like a nice guy but if I wanted to cook something from a recipe I would do it with an online recipe for free instead of paying 40$. I was paying for expert help while I cooked, not to look at a recipe. I want a refund.

I think the food and experience was great! I do think Chef Daniel was a bit quick in his instruction and could have been a bit clearer but overall I was able to keep up and the food turned out great

Chef Daniel was kind and obviously trying his best with the new format. I felt like the class moved a little fast. I frequently fell behind and made a lot of mistakes trying to catch up. I appreciated it when Chef Daniel checked in with us to see how we were doing and if we had any questions - more of that would be good.
Also, this isn't Chef Daniel's fault, but it was difficult finding the link to the class. It said somewhere that we would be sent class details 48 hours in advance, but that was not the case. Instead, I had to look at an email I had received a week or two prior and click a small, inconspicuous hyperlink on the word 'join' to access the session. An email with the details of the class and a more obvious button to join the meeting would help.
Regardless, I learned a lot from this session and thank Chef Daniel for his time and patience!

I could have read the ingredients list and seen a picture and I could have made these recipes. They are not that hard. I was expecting more tips and tricks, more overall cooking/kitchen management advice. I was expecting more banner. I went to a bit of trouble in Covid-19 times to get the ingredients yet (i) not all the ingredients we were required to obtain were actually used and (ii) the Chef/Instructor did not have all the ingredients needed. It was very much like he showed up and started cooking without preparing anything in advance. Disappointing. I would do cooking classes like this again but with a different instructor/chef.

we started later than we should have because of technical difficulty on CHef Daniel's side ( he updated his app so we could not see his table and it a while before it was fixed)and class stopped before we were finished.
Not very interactive and questions were answered vaguely.

Didn’t follow recipe in own packet, made it very hard to follow as he jumped around. He also cooked for 1 while instructing is to cook for more. This is an issue in timing. He was always so far ahead.

I enjoyed Chef Daniel's online cooking class. He was knowledgeable and personable. The internet was a little spotty so it was hard to hear him at times. The recipe for the Spanish paella was not accurate and I purchased about twice as much shellfish as needed.

Overall it felt like Chef Daniel was inexperienced in teaching while cooking. We didn't finish with all of the dishes until 10pm, and the class was not hands-on at all. We didn't have time to make one of the dishes that we were supposed to, and there was not enough paella for everyone. The assistant he had seemed to also be inexperienced. The food was good though, and the chef was very nice, but I did get the feeling that he was new to this, and the recipes were also new to him.
