In this team building workshop, learn the recipes to pecan bars, coconut macaroons, and gluten-free coffee brownies. These sweet treats make great gifts as well as a welcome presence on any dessert table.
Chef Tené’s love for baking was inherited through her mother and grandmother while a child growing up in Texas. Creating cookies and cakes had become a way to connect and share in her family’s history. Bringing years of experience to the kitchen, Chef Tené is eager to share her baking tips and tricks with your team.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Tene gave my 13 year old daughter and 4 of her friends an amazing experience and absolutely delicious meal. They especially loved they way she wove her family history into her recipes, and provided many small tips that they're all excited to bring into their cooking. She is a beautiful person and we'll definitely ask her back for more southern favorites. Thank you, Tene!

Chef Tene is a Southern girl after my own heart. Her courses start when she puts a picture of her Great Grandparents up in the kitchen to honor where her love of food began. She then shares all the secrets of Southern Fried Chicken and candied yams with such grace and kindness that you wish the evening would never end. Each dish is more delicious than the last and Chef Tene makes it all look like just the simplest thing in the world. Highly recommended.

Baking has been a passion of mine since my very young days baking with my mom and my grandmother in Texas. My meals and my desserts are full of the flavors, love, and stories of my family.
