My daughter and I had an absolutely fantastic time in Chef Lisa’s Thai-inspired, gluten-free cooking class! From the moment we walked in, her warmth and enthusiasm made the entire evening fun, approachable, and engaging. Chef Lisa’s passion for food and nutrition shines through in everything she does, and she makes authentic Thai cuisine feel both exciting and totally doable at home. We loved learning to roll delicate, colorful Thai spring rolls with rice paper and a sweet chili dipping sauce — light, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The pad gaprao (Thai basil chicken stir-fry) was our favorite dish of the night: bursting with flavor and depth thanks to the use of chicken thighs instead of breasts. Chef Lisa also shared a brilliant shortcut — using chicken sausage to save time, and crumbling the meat — which we’ll definitely be trying at home. Paired with fluffy baked basmati rice, the meal came together beautifully, and the mango-coconut sorbet was the perfect refreshing finish. What surprised us most was how simple it was to prepare and cook everything. With the ingredients prepped ahead of time, this is truly a 30-minute meal you can recreate easily in your own kitchen. Chef Lisa explained every step clearly, shared helpful techniques, and encouraged everyone to have fun along the way. Her background in Human Foods and Nutrition, along with her experience as an executive pastry chef and healthy-eating specialist, really shines through in her teaching. My daughter and I left full, inspired, and excited to cook these dishes again at home. If you’re looking for a cooking class that’s equal parts educational, delicious, and genuinely fun, Chef Lisa’s is an absolute must. Five stars all the way!
