Emma is a U.K.-based freelance writer with extensive experience working in most of the jobs in a professional kitchen, from prepping vegetables to washing pots. After working in higher education for several years, she has built a diverse portfolio of writing, focusing on the transformative power of food and nutrition. In her free time, she regularly likes to experiment with plant-based recipes and healthy alternatives to her favorite treats.
While completing her post-graduate Master’s degree in Theology and Religious Studies, she became fascinated by the unique role of food in history, tradition and culture.
