Cooking Class - Fresh Seafood Feast
Join Chef Malik and learn how to prepare three bright seafood dishes.
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Malik, you will learn everything you need to know to create a stunning seafood feast, including scaling, cleaning and filleting to seasoning, cooking and plating.
You will begin by making ceviche with fresh scallops brined in herbs and lime juice, then chopped and placed in large cucumber slices that are hollowed out to make cups. Chef Malik will also teach you how to prepare creamy crab bites with saffron, a seasonal fish entrée with sides, and a sweet and tart strawberry sorbet for dessert.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Malik was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and a great teacher. The fresh seafood feast was even better than anticipated. His homemade ice cream truly is the best! Would absolutely recommend and are planning to book another cooking experience with him in the future!

Chef Malik was very personable! He obviously enjoys his craft. Chef Malik is very knowledgeable and my sister and I learned a lot about the food we prepared and the safe preparation of the food. I provided a tip to Chef Malik that evening hence no tip is selected on this survey. I would recommend others to give Chef Malik and Cozymeal a try.

Chef Malik is pure Baltimore. He is down to earth and knows his way around a kitchen, not to mention a spice rack. His dishes are as accessible and approachable as he is. Nothing crazy. Nothing unexpected. My impression, of him and of his food, is that the time you spend with each will go by quickly. Chef Malik doesn't hide anything and his dishes don't as well. Just don't ask him about his spice mixes. Those are not spoken about. :-)
