Capture the wild essence of the Southwest by learning how to make Tex-Mex fiesta fares.
In this hands-on class with Chef Michael, you will learn what makes Tex-Mex so distinct and different from authentic Mexican cuisine as you work your way through the preparation of a four-course Tex-Mex menu.
Tex-Mex is a varied and fascinating cuisine, which you will come to know as you learn a variety of techniques from this fusion cuisine. You'll learn why and how to marinade meats and the proper grilling techniques as well as the art of cooking beans from scratch and how to use a water bath to cook custard.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

CozyMeal with Chef Michael definitely exceeded my expectations. He was an awesome teacher he took his time to not only demonstrate and give hands on but to explain what and why. The meal was absolutely delicious but the things that stuck out to me the most was their love for God and the impeccable hospitality rendered by both Granny and him. Would I recommend Cozymeal, MOST DEFINITELY. Would I attend a Cozymeal class, MOST DEFINITELY AND WE WILL. It’s no doubt that Cozymeal lived up to it’s name. 5 ***** stars for Cozymeal. Plus we get the bragging rights of being his class. MAGNIFICENT!!!!

Chef Michael was very detailed and let me to be hands on with the experience. He was very knowledgeable and showed his passion for cooking. I loved every minute of our time.

I enjoyed Chef Michael's menu which started with a Mexican-inspired shrimp appetizer and moved on to a more southern style pork sandwich and green beans. Chef Michael walked me through the preparation and cooking. He answered all my questions about techniques and finding great ingredients. It was obvious he's passionate about food and cooking. Can't forget the peach cobbler a la mode which was perfection!
