Join Chef Gilley on a journey to build the foundation of a well-stocked Asian pantry.
In this hands-on class, Chef Gilley introduces you to two sauces and a dressing that will infuse any and all of your meals with authentic Asian flavors in no time.
Chef Gilley will begin by teaching on how to outfit your pantry with necessary Asian ingredients to always have on hand so you can whip up these sauces and this dressing anytime. Of course, you won't just be making sauces — you'll also prepare a beautiful salad for your dressing, a classic noodle bowl for one sauce and stir-fry for the other!
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Honey-Miso Ginger Dressing
With baby arugula, roasted carrots, apples and goat cheese
Chili Noodle Sauce
A quick take on classic zha jiang mian with scallions and cucumbers
Black Bean BBQ Sauce
With stir-fried broccoli and tofu

Chef Gilley is passionate about teaching the beauty of Chinese cuisine and hosting cooking classes to share his knowledge and experience with others. In the past, he has operated an extension of his family's restaurant at a weekly food fest in Brooklyn, and is currently serving up delectable dishes as a sous chef in New York. Chef Gilley is famous for his cold sesame noodles, which have been heralded by Gourmet Magazine and the New York Times.
