Chef Carla will draw upon her extensive culinary expertise to show you how to make an amazing Italian-inspired meal.
Have you ever made ricotta cheese from scratch? Well, now is your chance! Chef Carla will introduce you to the process of making this incredible Italian cheese in a simple manner. From there, you will create a classic and comforting Italian meal including mellow garlic soup, Parmesan crostini, classic lasagna bolognese, and more. Dessert is always important in Italian culture, so treat yourself to a ricotta cheesecake that is absolutely divine.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a great experience at Carla's home. She was very personable and friendly and provided some great cooking tips along the way. We really enjoyed all of the food, it was delicious! And Carla's home is lovely. I would definitely recommend this experience to others. It was such a fun night!

Meet your chef
Chef Carla wears many hats. She is more than just a cook; she is a farmer, teacher, beekeeper, butcher, and Betty Crocker punk rocker! This impressive chef converted a vacant lot into a productive urban farmland and graduated from Kendall College with a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts program. Food is her religion, from growing and cooking it to buying and storing it. Chef Carla calls on everyone to dust off their aprons, get in the kitchen, and whip up some love.
