Master the basics of the bread making process from start to finish with Chef Kim.
In this hands-on class, Chef Kim will guide you through the basics of the entire bread-making process. By using three recipes for three different types of breads, you will be on your way to mastering the nine essential steps of the bread making process.
You will learn proper measuring, how to work with the yeast, different mixing methods, kneading, proper gluten development, fermentation, the art of shaping, proofing, and baking techniques. Honing these basic steps will ensure your focaccia, soft dinner rolls, and country-style biscuits will be immaculate.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Kim is a classically trained pastry chef and enthusiastic about teaching and entertaining children interested in spending time in the kitchen. She currently teaches pastry fundamentals and advanced pastry education courses in San Diego, and loves passing her passion for pastry onto the next generation.
